Bridal Style

Avero, sitting in the living room of the lancaster mansion was sobbing quietly thinking of what she will do to exact revenge on Dane for embarrassing her in front of Sharon when winston walked in on her. He couldn't help but notice she was in a bad shape.

"Hey Avero what is the matter? " He asked with concern in his voice.

He has always known her to be a strong girl, so seeing her in tears made him feel concerned for her.

Avero quickly cleaned her tears and gave him no reply. She wasn't in her right frame of mind now and wasn't interested in talking to anyone.

Winston moved over to where she was sitting and placed his right hand on her shoulder.

"Avero you can talk to me "he said almost in whispers.

"What is the matter? Did Dane offend you? "

On hearing the name Dane her sobbing increased. Her body shook at the mention of his name she couldn't hold it anymore.

She burst into more tears this time sobbing loudly.

Winston wrapped his arms around her in a tight embrace sniffing her scent in. Even in that state she still smelt nice he thought to him self.

He wonders what must have happened between Avero and his brother. He doesn't know Dane to be the one to hurt women. He was still thinking when she interrupted his thought. Disengaging from the embrace she asked.

"Winston , who is Sharon? "

"Sharon? " he asked wide eyed.

He wasn't expecting that question from her. He reasoned Avero must have seen Dane with Sharon somewhere for this question to be on her lips right now.

"Well Sharon is a part of this family "he finally replied.

"I don't understand Winston I have never met her here before how can you then say she is a part of your family? "

"I really don't know Avero, you see Dad brought her home one day and we have never bordered to ask him. "

"Have you tried asking her where she came from? "

"No, none of us have dared ask her. We decided it was best not to ask her now since she is still new. "

"Besides we don't know how she will react no one wants to get in trouble with dad."

"Oh I see she said" nodding her head.

'What's the matter Avero? "

"Nothing Dane I am fine now "

"Thanks for the information I will be sleeping over since tomorrow is Tobin's birthday we can get to talk later, I just need to rest. "

With that she tried getting up but her legs were weak.

Winston offered to carry her before she could object he lifted her in bridal style. He was taking her to the guest room when Dane walks in with Sharon in his arms also in bridal style.

Sharon being weak was struggling to walk back from the pool when her legs gave way. Dane who was walking closely behind her quickly caught her and carried her. Sharon was feeling dizzy and as such couldn't protest she just wanted to get home.

Both brothers stared at each other with jealousy and anger in their eyes. Winston is angry because Dane made Avero cry and jealous because Sharon was in his arms.

While Dane was jealous and angry because he Avero was in the arms of Winston. He thought she had moved too fast over him.

Avero is upset seeing Sharon in the arms of Dane. He has never carried me like that she whispered to winston. But she became happy when she saw the jealousy on Dane' s face she clinged on to Winston tighter and looked away from Dane

The brothers kept staring at each other until Sharon requested to be taken upstairs.

Dane carefully dropping her on the bed promises to tell Mrs Williams to make something for her.

He was thinking about what he just saw. He didn't care much about Avero but about Winston.

"She can move on, but not that easily and definitely not with Winston. "
