Profitable Business

After dropping Ginny off, Lily migrated to the passenger seat next to Lin Que. The couple waited until they saw Ginny's apartment lights turned on before driving away. In the middle of the ride, Lily cleared her throat and asked, "Why did you discharge me a day early?"

"Because I want my girlfriend to rest well before the party." His reasoning was the same as his previous response.

"Did you think your girlfriend needs a day to prepare everything? Sheesh, I can raise a pinky and still beat ninety percent of the guests at the party, okay?" She teased as she pursed her lips.

Stopping in front of the red light, he smiled, "Actually, I have confidence in my girlfriend's beauty beating the whole party. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't hogging you to myself. After all, your mom purposely chose the gown for you. What if the gown needs adjustments?"

"Oh? Then what if the gown is super revealing? Would someone swallow a jar of vinegar when I wear it in front of all those people?" She tilted her head towards his direction to see him concentrated on the road.

The next second, he replied to her with a charming smile. "Of course not. If that gown ends up too revealing, I'll wrap you up with a blanket and make you into a taco. I'll have you wear it only for me to see."

"R..Really?" She asked nervously.

"Nope. I'll claim you in front of everyone's jealous eyes. This way, I wouldn't have to waste any vinegar. They make up for it. Such a profitable business, don't you think?" He said as he reached over and patted her head.

"My boyfriend is the best! But I don't want to show you to them. There are too many wolves out there. You might get eaten by them." Placing her palms on her cheeks, she sighed as she worriedly thought of Lin Que's handsomeness.

'If this beauty shows himself at a party, all the guys can go bankrupt trying to chase after girls. Even then, the girls would only take advantage of their presents to gift to this beauty in front of my eyes. What a sin to have such prettiness!' She thought inwardly for a while and failed to notice they've arrived at the hospital's parking lot.

When she snapped out of her thought, Lin Que had already unbuckled her seat belt. "What are you thinking about?"

Sighing once again, she wrapped her arms around his neck from the side. "I'm thinking about how many dangerous animals are out there trying to lay their hands on fresh meat like you. It makes me worried. Ahhhh and I am being kicked out tomorrow. I'll see you even less!"

She pouted at the thought of not seeing him as often after tomorrow.

Brushing the back of his hand against her peachy cheeks, he reassured her. "Someone is missing me already? But no matter if it's a tiger or a muffin trying to tempt me, I will only have my eyes for one person. I only have one heart and after that person took over, I don't even have space to think for myself. So, they won't succeed."

"Oh? Then I wonder which pretty girl took this young man's heart." She teased as she poked his chest. Taking that hand in his and placing her palm flat against his chest.

He whispered, "Come closer and I'll tell you."

Rather than saying his voice had a magnetic effect, his soothing heartbeats lured her to his embrace.

"You." His hoarse voice nearly seduced her into hopping over to the driver's seat to kiss him. Hearing such a cute confession, her hands covered his cheeks as she kissed his softened lips. Since the position was quite uncomfortable for them to kiss each other, she let him go after a minute.

Sucking in her top and bottom lips, a taste of sweetness spread in her mouth. It was a type of joy she had never felt before coming from her heart. "Good answer. You better only say it to me."

Lin Que replied, "Mm." They got out of the vehicle and walked hand in hands back to her room. Since it was pretty late already, Lily almost knocked out on the bed after getting tucked in by Lin Que. He gave her a small peck on her forehead as she dozed off the dreamland. "Good night," he whispered.

The next morning, Lin Que ran through her body examination reports twice before permitting her to leave. She changed out of the hospital clothes and packed everything she brought to the hospital.

"Ready?" He knocked on the door. Knowing she was leaving around this time; he purposely took a small break to accompany her.

"Nn! I packed everything. I think." She said as she hugged his waist.

"Hmm? You forgot something." He pointed at himself with a bright smile on his face.

"Ah! You're right. Let me tell Ginny to get me a larger suitcase. I need to kidnap my boyfriend. Hehehe~" She found it fun playing along with his loving words.

"You can kidnap me all you like. I'm all yours to take." His chin rested on her head as he combed her hair using his fingers.

"Hehehe. Don't worry, this emperor will take responsibility for you. My queen." She buried her face in his chest as she giggled at her own words.

"I'm looking forward to your responsibility." He chuckled at the sweet girl in his arms who couldn't stop laughing at her own flirting comebacks.

"Ahem! Emperor Lily, your peasant has come to retrieve your luggage." Ginny interrupted the couple's loving moment and walked in. Hearing her voice, the couple immediately separated. Lily blushed and said, "I'm ready to go."

Bending her body slightly forward while squinting her eyes, Ginny suspiciously glanced at Lily's flushed cheeks. "Are you sure~~~~ you are ready to go? Did you forget to give your queen something? Queen, I think you dropped something." She pointed at her own lips as a hint towards Lily.

Lin Que leaned forward as he caught the meaning behind Ginny's words.

"Ahem!" Lily pretended to clear her throat as she gave Lin Que a quick goodbye kiss. Lin Que walked the girls to the entrance and watched them leave to the parking lot. He touched his lips and let out a soft laugh, "So cute."
