Love At First Gaze

The first time was a coincidence. Second time could be called good timing. Third time is destiny. The first time they met, they were both cosplaying at an Anime Convention. Coincidentally, she was Usagi Tsukino, and he happened to be Tuxedo Mask from the anime, Sailor Moon. Their first gaze caught his attention. Her first smile swept his heart away. She walked towards him, and he was ready to take off the mask to talk to her. Unfortunately, it was all a misunderstanding. This was their first time crossing paths, but he facepalmed so hard when he realized he got the wrong idea that he changed his "Hi," into an anime's title, "Hitman Reborn." At that time, he watched her approach another person who acted as Tuxedo Mask behind him. The smile she had on her face wasn't towards him. It was a mistake. Two months later Second time they met was at their graduation. His brother, Lucas, flew back from overseas to attend his graduation in place of his parents. After taking countless pictures with his brother and some with friends, they left campus. Inside his black Mercedes, his brother shoved several well taken photos and showed it to him. Just when he was about to answer his regular plain response, the words swallowed back down his throat. He held his brother's phone and zoomed in to the back where he saw her again! Once again, a facepalm landed on his face as he couldn't believe that there could be such timing. He could've gotten her name! After a few days later, he got off his shift late and realized that he didn't go grocery shopping. Since his fridge was empty, he decided to have his meal at a newly opened Szechuan Spicy Bowl restaurant. "It shouldn't take that long to get a seat at this time.." Or so he thought. When he got there, the place was full and he didn't have much patience since he was alone. Right when he was about to leave, the waiter asked if he minded sharing a table. "Sure." He sat down across from the girl and ordered from the menu. When she took a few napkins to wipe her nose, he took the chance to thank her for sharing the table. And there she was with her Beyond Human level spicy bowl... Although they only exchanged a few words, he found her very interesting. A girl eating at this hour without caring about her weight and her surrounding. She was adorable. The clumsy her forgot her newly printed business cards at her seat when she left. "Lily Jiang," he smiled. He thought of bringing this to her when he is free, but who knew that they would meet again at the hospital? His lips twitched when he faced his new patient, "Hello, Miss. Jiang, I am Lin Que, your doctor for this visit. Where do you feel uncomfortable?" He looked at the medical report in hand as he couldn't believe his luck with this girl.

An Amazing Coincidence

After sitting for two hours and a half, the crucial moment finally arrived as the speaker announced to the microphone, "Congratulations to all!!! You've officially graduated!!"

"Wooooooo!!!!!! Yessssssss!!!! Ginny!!!!!" Lily and her mother stood up with their cameras and snapped pictures of Ginny smiling dazzlingly with her arms in the air. Tilting her face towards the camera, she smiled while showing her teeth with a victory sign and posed several times.

Gathering outside the building, Ginny dashed towards the mother and daughter pair with open arms. Lily and her mother reciprocated the hug and shouted, "Congratulations!!!!!!!"

"Thank you!" Ginny said as she loosened her arms around them and pecked them on the cheeks. Toby took the camera from Lily's hand and moved backwards. "Alright, girls!! Time to smile towards the camera!!!"

Facing the camera lenses, the girls curved their arms and body to form a huge heart towards the camera. Then, they changed their pose to a smooching face one where Lily pointed at her flamingo designed cap and gave Ginny a kiss on the cheeks. Another picture was taken where the cap was placed on Lily's head and Ginny's hands were around her shoulders.

"Perfect!!!! Beautiful!!!" Toby gave them a thumbs up as she excitedly took several more photos of them together.

Lily smiled and waved her mother over for a switch. This time, Toby was the one in the picture where she simply hugged and caressed Ginny's face. Lily knelt down and switched to different angles where the lighting looked the best for the photos. After taking around thirty photos, they decided to leave and celebrate at a restaurant.

Days later, at the same place, same time, Lily's graduation ceremony took place. Once again, the trio started snapping pictures and thought of unique poses for pictures. From casual, formal to super shameless poses, Lily and Ginny goofed around and laughed casually.

Since Ginny was taller, she would act as the boyfriend and Lily would play the girl's role in the pictures. For instance, for one of the poses, Ginny lifted Lily's chin with a finger where their eyes exchanged glances and Lily's hand was on her chest. They named this pose, "Innocent love."

Then, they naturally adjusted their limbs where Lily's graduation gown would cover half of her thigh while leaning onto Ginny's leg and Ginny's hand was holding her leg in place. Ginny's free hand held onto Lily's waist and Lily's thumb was touching Ginny's lips. "Wild love," was the name of the pose.

"Alright, girls. If you continue with these poses, I'll get a nose bleed before dinner!" Toby joked as she enjoyed seeing the wonderful smiles on the girl's faces. Some classmates interrupted and approached Lily's side, wanting to take some selfies with her.

Since she was busy with her friends, Toby and Ginny stepped aside to let the girls have their own space. It was then that Toby had realized that somebody was missing. She leaned closer to Ginny and asked, "Where's Hawk? It's Lily's big day today. Is his graduation also today?"

Ginny replied while shaking her head, "He flunked two courses, so his graduation will be held next year if he passes the classes in the following semester. I'm not sure why he didn't come, though. I am pretty sure that Lily sent him messages about today."

"Hmmm, that's not right. As her boyfriend, he shouldn't miss this special moment. Maybe he has something important to do. If not, then she should really have a talk with him." Toby frowned as she did not like the idea of Lily being affected by a missing boyfriend on her special day. She felt relieved when she saw Lily's smiling face.

"At least she seems to be happy today. Let's forget that jerk for now." Ginny said.

Toby nodded and agreed as she focused her attention on Lily. She thought she might have heard wrong when Ginny addressed Hawk as a 'jerk,' so she didn't continue the conversation further.

While snapping pictures with her friends, Lily did another smooch face. Not far from where she was standing, Lin Que's younger brother, Lucas, was circling around him with a bouquet of flowers.

"Congratulations, big bro!!!!!" Lucas hugged his brother tightly and patted his back.

"Thank you for coming! It must have been a tiring flight from overseas." Lin Que smiled handsomely as he reciprocated the hug.

"I'm so glad that the flight made it in time! I was so scared that I wouldn't be able to make it to your graduation! Phew! What a relief." Lucas shoved the bouquet of flowers into Lin Que's arms and took out a selfie stick.

Facing the front camera of Lucas' phone, Lin Que was forced to say "cheese," and smile. From different angles, Lucas would fix his hair and take multiple pictures at once. After a while of taking pictures in different poses, Lucas nodded satisfyingly.

"Very good! These are all evidences for dad and mom to see. I'll post the best ones to our family group chat." Lucas said as he scrolled through his album and started editing them. Alan attacked Lin Que from behind and jumped onto him, "Congratulations!!!!!"

"Woahhh!! That's dangerous. What if I flipped you over and twisted your arm as self-defense?" Lin Que's arms held onto Alan's legs. Seeing this scene, Lucas snapped more pictures while Alan made different postures for him to take.

Such a shameless duo, yet it looked so fun from a bystander's view.

"Impossible! You are probably familiar with my scent or presence. Your first instinct was to carry me. See? Look at these muscular arms of yours on my legs!" Alan pointed down where his hand was indeed holding onto his legs. He continued making victory signs to the camera.

"Oh?" Lin Que's lips twitched as he let go and Alan's legs started to slide off the gown.

"Bruhhhhhhh!!!" Alan gasped as he slipped off Lin Que's back. Lucas laughed as he caught every part of this scene.

After minutes of nonsense, Alan got the pictures that he wanted to take with Lin Que and left with a group of friends. Meanwhile, Lin Que followed Lucas to their black Mercedes car. In the middle of the ride, Lucas giggled at the funny, awkward faces that they made. After choosing the best ones out of the album, he shoved his phone to his brother.

Lin Que decided to take a quick look at the pictures and compliment it with his plain, old response. The moment his fingers swiped to the left; he spotted a familiar face in the background. Blinking three times in disbelief, his fingers subconsciously zoomed in to the back.

Rubbing each eye twice to clear up his vision, he brought the phone closer to his face. Lucas raised his eyebrow when he saw Lin Que's weird action, "What's wrong?" Looking back and forth from the photo to his brother's shocked expression, his eyes glowed in excitement.

"Is that my future sister-in-law?! Let me see! Let me see!! She looks pretty from the side!" Lucas tried to snatch his phone back. While struggling in the backseat to grab a hold of his phone, the driver ran over a pothole.

Lin Que's finger slipped onto the send button and those selected pictures were successfully delivered to his parents...

Forget the fact that the pictures were now in the possession of his parents, Lin Que handed Lucas' phone back to him and started looking at his own phone. Since the pictures were sent into the group chat, so Lin Que had access to it.

Zooming in on the same picture, he continued staring at the amazing coincidence. Not only was the timing perfect; he had to praise his brother for taking such a great picture because she made a smooch face in the back where her friends were perfectly blocked away from view. If he zoomed out from the picture, it would look like she was kissing his cheeks.

Fate, huh?

Give a round of applause to Lucas!!!!!!!

And Congrats to all these undergrads heh~~~
