I " stop looking at me " she blushed. since she began eating Aiden didn't take his eyes off her even for a second. this filled her stomach with butterflies

" you don't like it?" with an eyebrow raised

" I do. I mean no. just stop " looking away as she took a sip from her Smoothie, she didn't want Aiden to see how much she was blushing " you are making me feel a bit weird"

" Weird in a good way or in a bad way," he asked still looking at her

" oh lord " she covered her face with her free hand " whatever " whispering " but why?" she suddenly asked

" why what?"

" Why didn't you tell me you liked me the other night. you just mocked " Aiden went blank at her question. he finally looked away from her. how is he going to explain to her, she won't understand

" it's not that simple to explain Riley," he said in a low tone

" try me " with eyes focused on the young man while he did his best to avoid eye contact. there was a long silence between them

" because it is no use Riley" he broke

" what?".

" The moment we get to the Organisation we may not see each other again. the only time you see me will be when you need protection" Riley was quiet for a while. trying to process what he said

" you are going to leave me?" her voice cracked

" No Riley, I won't, it's just that the Organisation will be against me and you being together," he explained calmly

"Why?. I get it that you walk for them so them but it doesn't mean that they can control your life " She spoke still waiting for Aiden to look at her But as he didn't she had to ask him to " Aiden look at me " Aiden obeyed, turning slowly and their gaze met. Riley saw something in his eyes that she couldn't explain. it made her worried " I am beginning to have a bad feeling about this place Aiden. we don't have to go, I don't care about knowing who I am again if I am going to be controlled. besides, if I keep practising with you I will be able to use my powers full so let's just forget about going there " she quickly. it was until she finished that she realized the was almost out of breath

" oh chill " he smiled. Aiden reached for her free hand, lifting it as he locked fingers with hers, placing it on his thigh " it's not that simple Riley. I can't just take you away that easily. you are very important to them. they will find us "

" important" Riley whispered the word. it was unusual to be told that she was important. she use to be the witch that everyone wanted to get rid of. now all of a sudden she was important. the very thing people hated her for was what made her important " why?" she asked and Aiden understood her question

" it's not in my place to give you that information" Aiden

" Anthony said something. about me being created? the reason I was created?" Aiden's eyes fell wide open in shock " am I?" she stopped to think " am I a science experiment" she finally asked. for the very information, she wasn't supposed to have. Aiden remained quiet. he had no intention of replying " Aiden?" she called but he only looked away, out the window " Aiden talk to me. Please" her voice cracked like she was going to cry and was something he didn't want

" yes. you are " he announced " we both her " he turned to look at her and confusion hit him when she began smiling " Why are you smiling "

" Should I be mad?" He watched her take the final sip from her Smoothie they threw the cup out the window " a lot has happened in my life these few days. this is not enough to make me mad. I don't think anything can surprise me again "

" truth me, you will be surprised when you see the boss "

" why?" she smiled

" you will see," he said

it was past 7. Aiden and Riley we're still talking in the car. they had a long fun chat. Riley told Aiden about the sad and scary moments in her life while he laughed at her. some of does moments he was aware of while some were new to him.

" I had a prince charming," she said

" Really?" he asked with full interest " I don't know about this "

" well, you should because it happened after junior year. the school mask party. I didn't want to go but my parents made me. they said ' it will be fun ' " she quoted " I got there and was lonely, nobody wanted to dance with me. even though I had a mask on, they knew it was me. I sat outside at the school field waiting for the party to be over when someone offered his hand

FLASHBACK

" may I " Riley heard a smooth calming voice. she lifts her head to see a guy standing before her. his suit look very expensive and he had beautiful dark hair. she couldn't see his face because he had a mask on but she could see his amazing dark blue eyes, it was so beautiful in the moonlight

" you. want to dance with me?" she was in shock, doesn't he recognize her or something

" is something wrong?" he had a British accent

" you know who I am right?" she asked

" Riley. Right? " He called her name and Riley was filled with joy when her name came out of his mouth. he knew who she was and still wanted to dance with her

" Yeah. I am "

" So may I," he asked again. Riley smiled brightly and took his hand and he led her back into the school

" he was so handsome" she daydreamed

" How did you know when he was wearing a mask, " Aiden who was smiling at her said. Riley raised an eyebrow at him

" I could see it in his eyes " She replied and their gaze met. trapped in those beautiful dark blue eyes. Realization hit her " wait a minute" looking at his eyes, then his hair " you were?" she stopped. Aiden could not stop himself from smiling at this point " it was you!!" she announced. Aiden looked away to stop himself from laughing at the expression she gave

" Yes it was " looking back at her

" what? " she covered her mouth " you are, prince charming?" he nodded " you are prince charming, Mysterio guy and hoodie guy?" she raised her eyebrow in confusion

" how many names do I have " there was curiosity in his tone

" will it depends. " she shrugged " okay, what about this time I went camping with my parents...." he cut her off

" you wandered into the forest and lost your way, ended up in wolf territory and almost got eaten? "

" It was you that saved me " with eyes wide open

" yes it was "

" What name did I get then," he asked curiously

" strange hero " she replied

"Yeah. that day I noticed you did everything possible to hide your face. so you were my strange hero "

" you are good at giving names " he had an impressed look

" tonight are training " he announced out of the blue

" yes . now come out "these were his last words before he opened the door and got out leaving Riley in shock. why didn't he inform her in advance. but it was a good thing. she haven't trained in two nights since their first. she still had a lot to learn

" what are you waiting for " he called from outside
