Chapter 5: Who are you again?

Alexius then close the history book and look at the yapping elf man at his side. The elf man notices his stare then clears his throat while fixing his clothes.

"Excuse me sir I would like to speak to you about you not catching me when I was falling."

When he finished his words he looks proudly at him like he was correct. Alexius's eyes go narrow and look at this man with full attention. Which made the elf man flinch from the scary aura that he releases. It was...so intimidating like an apex predator look at his prey.

'Ah..F***k! f**k! sh*t! I made a pit for myself f***k'

"So?" his cold deep voice like a sharp sword and it made the elf man felt a sword at his neck. It really made him cry for himself 'Why am I so idiot' thought by this reckless elf man.

"W-well I w-was asking if you just catch me then I wouldn't have to fall from the ground."

The surroundings felt a bit colder and the other people are watching them. They are waiting when the fight is going to start. All of the other people's attention was in their direction. The atmosphere was really suffocating and scary because in his front was a lion looking at him.

'I need to do something because if I don't do something I might- no WILL lose my life buhuhuhu I still haven't lost my virginity'

"Well I mean I'm just asking if you could be kind to catch me you...know what I mean...right?"

He awkwardly laughs like an idiot at Alexius but Alexius continues to look at him. It seems like even a tornado would not move him. And it really made him feel more uncomfortable because of his piercing stare.

Compared to this elf man Alexius's thoughts are quite opposite.

'Who is this man? Do I know him?'

This situation continues and even the other people couldn't help but felt nervous. Because of the suffocating situation, it really made them scared and curious about what is going to happen next.

Mob 1: Why are they are just starting? Come on! You are starting to tick me!!!

Mob 2: Oh my! staring at each other are they going to fight? Who's going to win?

Mob 3: Come on!!! stop staring already if want to talk then TALK!!

Everyone was on their toes some started to sweat some almost piss their pants because they were too excited. Then suddenly Alexius opens his mouth, everyone, in the training point all their focus on him. Every single motion he did everyone anticipated as the curiosity is starting to build up in their hearts. But Alexius stop his mouth and close his mouth everyone at present felt disappointed. But then he opens his mouth again, and everyone was now in the pit of anticipation some started to scratch their head, some even forgot to breathe. And some started to bit their nails as they couldn't help but think what would happen next.

"Who are you again?"

Everyone at the present was silent even the elf man who was in front of him was also silent. You could see the changes in his emotions on his face. At first, he felt shocked because of what he said followed by anger because he felt that is he intentionally mock him. Then laughter because he saved his ass from getting killed on the spot.

The other people at the present felt the same as what the elf man felt. They laughed because they didn't expect that Alexius unable to remember him. They all thought 'oh poor elf man' all pity him the elf man also noticed how they felt. He himself doesn't understand if he should cry or laugh at his situation.

"I'm the man from the B2 section."

Alexius then narrows his eyes trying to remember who he is. Then suddenly a light bulb crosses in his mind like he remembers something.

"Oh... the clumsy guy who fall flat at the ground."

When the elf man heard his description he felt embarrassed by how he remembered him. Although this makes it easier but still it is embarrassing to be a nickname for it. The other people who heard what Alexius said couldn't help but laugh. And the elf man glared at them then they go silent afraid to offend the young man. But they continue to laugh at their hearts and silently enjoy the embarrassing moment of the young man.

"You are right...but I hope you don't call me that in the future."

Alexius nods as a sign of agreement and looks at the elf man again.

"So what do you want to say to me?"

"Well...ugh.. forget it."

Alexius was curious about what the young man is going to say but did not pursue it because he felt that he shouldn't or something bad would happen.

"How about I introduced myself to you it seems you are going to the academy."

"So are you."

The elf man then shows his hand as a greeting to him.

"My name's Elijah Kalispell new student of the academy."

"Alexius Hendrix also a new student pleasure to meet you, Elijah."

As they shake hands while facing each other now that they are introducing their selves. It made the atmosphere calm and welcoming feeling.

"A pleasure is mine."

Both of them sit down together as they talk about the Academy. Like long lost buddies have finally found each other. Both of them felt like they were destined to meet together. Like a long-lost friend and perhaps someone who will be a friend who got always your back.

"So what department are you going to choose in the Academy Alex? Can I call you Alex as your nickname it's much easier to call you that."

Alexius felt touch because it was the first time someone in his age treats him like a friend. He felt something fluttering in his stomach like a warm feeling. He usually often receive disgust and scared looks at the other people. And of course, it made him left alone but it's not like he could control other people's opinion.

Nor he cared about their opinions so he stayed away from others isolating himself. Now he felt that someone could become his friend but he was a bit shy. Because it was his first time to have a friend it made him happy because of what he said.

Elijah thought that he didn't like what he nicknames him. Was worried that he might dislike the nickname he has given to him. Or he might just dislike having a nickname.

"Well if you don't like it-"

"No!"

Elijah was surprised when Alexius raised his voice and even more surprised when he did raise his voice. He thought he could also be surprised ah... he seems kinda cute the way he acts like a tsundere.

"Well, you could call me Alex if you want..."

Alexius couldn't help but felt a bit shy and like a child who just got his first gift on Christmas. He was a bit happy when Elijah gave him a nickname despite meeting for the first time. He was surprised and excited to have a friend he couldn't suppress his excitement, but when he heard what Elijah said he was scared. He just got a friend now he already lost it so he immediately disagrees with his statement.

Elijah thought 'Despite his cocky appearance acting like a cold and aloof persona. It seems he is often misunderstood because of his appearance. Quite opposite to his personality if you don't focus your attention on the small movements in his face you wouldn't tell if he is angry or not. His personality is shy and it seems he is unable to express his emotions correctly.

It seems that Elijah meets a shy but cute person on his way to Academy. And Alexius met a nice person who became his friend.
