The cold wind traveled throughout the mountain, bringing together a dense and blurry fog that didn't allow one to see too far, a perfect cover for ambush and assassination. Unfortunately, people weren't allowed to travel to the mountain.

The [Gates of Hell] was located in the vicinity of the mountain, the fanatics of the Church forbade everyone from taking a step on the mountain, many rumors and created accidents also contributed to the fear that people felt for this place.

Only of this but also the presence of 'Demons', the mutated beast acted as a deterrent which people usually avoid at all costs. To tell the truth, they weren't wrong about the mountain but what they didn't know was that other than the mutated beasts and scare hybrids, there are more dangerous beings inside the red fog located deep in the mountain.

The holy city of Hermes had been fighting against these beings and monsters for ages but only the true leaders of the church knew the truth. The battle of evolution had been going on forever. Kite knew about it, the reason why he was so focused on gathering power was only that he didn't have enough time.

A huge battle would surely begin in the coming years, the major forces had been fighting at different fronts all this time. The [Cross church] was the most influential religion who worshipped the [God of Light], the [Axion church] had the largest resources, even when compared to the largest kingdom, The Kingdom of Graycastle. They worshipped the [God of Truth]. Finally the [Ruujiki temple], a secluded sacred land filled with monks and Daoists throughout the place.

They had the strongest forces in the whole world, even the demons and the old-witches combined couldn't damage them. The monks and Daoists were all cultivators who practice ancient battle arts, Sutra, Dharma, Body refinement, and many more techniques.

They were a closed religion who rarely accepted others in the temple, they walked on the path of enlightenment and spirituality. [Budhha] being the idol of this group of people.

The three forces rarely clashed with each other and only focused on defending their battlefronts. But the [Cross-church were getting impatient, they want to control the whole kingdom and use the resources they would acquire to fend off the demons. Kite knew that this wasn't as simple as it seemed, there was something that he didn't know about.

Roland had been having these strange feelings that something is about to come and the whole kingdom will be affected by it. After taking care of the pressing matters at hand here in the [Border town], Kite would need to travel to the [Coast of Blackwater] and investigate what is happening under the covers of [Royal selection].

"I have found a lead Master...." Cynthia walks inside the room and stands beside Kite who is holding a glass of fine wine in his left hand. He stands and walks towards the balcony. Looking at the bright moon shining flawlessly in the lonely night, he can't help but let out a smile.

"You have been helpful all this time Cynthia..." placing the glass on the wooden table near his right he turns around and walks closer to Cynthia before stopping inches away from her.

He lifts his finger and gently slides across her neck, looking at those black eyes, he can't help but think about the potential she had, just how much she could help him in his task.

"My wish is to be of Master's use, my life was given by Master and I will not forget this debt." she looks straight into his eyes and declares her allegiance.

Kite smiles before walking away from her, he speaks in a cold tone "In this noble quest for freedom and equality, my will join our cause will others will oppose us. The witches will both help us and also try to stop us when the time comes for you to face off against your sisters, will you be able to deliver the final blow?"

Without a shred of hesitation, she replied immediately "The cause that we are fighting for is a noble one, even if our sisters try to stop us I will not let them do that, sacrifices are required for the greater good. As long as it is something that will allow my kind to be free from this torment, I will kill anyone who disrupts your plan Master."

"Life has been cruel to you but I promise after all this is over you will have friends and family of your own also you will have a place by my side forever. The hardship you faced will not haunt the younger generation, rather they will live a happy, healthy and long life."

"Just don't betray me, Cynthia, I will not hesitate to rip out your heart from your body..."

"Master has given me everything, made by who I am today, saved my kind and is working hard to protect us. Even his I had to give my life, I would do it without hesitation for you Master."

"Your loyalty is what garners my trust, your powers are what garners my interest, while your devotion is what garners my affection. I only care for those loyal to me, you and the other two are the recipients of it. A storm is brewing and soon it will hit the whole kingdom, bringing unspeakable changes."

"Nightingale is an important piece in my plan, she needs to be trained and groomed just like the three of you were groomed by me. Teach her what I taught you."

"But her loyalty doesn't lay with us....!!!!"

"I don't need her loyalty, as long as those she cares about are loyal to us she too will eventually come under my control. I will help the witches in taking back what is rightfully theirs but I will not allow anyone one to mess my plans."

"Come now, we have some witches who need our help," said Kite before putting on his cloak and walking towards the exit followed by Cynthia, they walked out the castle and headed towards the [Immpassible mountains]
