A Lords confusion

Waking up groggily andy picked up the phone and answered with a groaning "Hello?"

"ANDY WHAT ARE YOU DOING ASLEEP GET YOUR A** TO THE EDGE OF TOWN PRONTO THERE'S A HUGE SURGE OF MAGIC ENERGY. I'll SEND THE DIRECTIONS NOW!" The deep voice roared up from the phone "Lovely to hear from you bos-" He was saying before the call was hanged up. He had half a mind to just go back to sleep and forget about the whole thing "But i need this job" He sighed and put his coat on. then walked out the door.

"Better be worth it"

Back at the cave

"You cracked it and now its price will be lowered because of you-you beanstalk" The fat man screamed "Really Richie. that the best you can do?" John responded, "Shut up im stressed!" Richie shouted.

*Crack. Crack" Two more cracks appeared on the stone. they both stood still both noticing something "Wasn't that black blob in the middle a minute ago?" John looked at Richie in disbelief. "Yes." Cold sweat poured out of both their pores as they noticed it "And you're seeing what I'm seeing right now right?" "Yes."

They both stared dumbfounded at the black visage against the cracks the most visible of which was a hand. It seems to push against the crystal causing more spiderweb-like cracks to appear on the stone and then a bulge began to form in the place where the hand was and them.

*Crack. Crack Crack. Crack....* Crack after crack rang out in the very souls of the men witnessing the event. Until it all culminated into a loud shattering of the crystal causing them to shudder. What rose put a primal fear in them.

A black mass of armor with a red stripe coming out of the helm and matching was the red cape on the armor. It looked as if it was made from shadow itself, and inside the helm were two piercing red eyes that looked at the two men and sent a cold chill up their spines as they looked at what seemed to be their worst nightmare appear before them.

"Ughhhh" Hearing the black mass of armor begin to groan they nearly jumped out of their skin.

"NOPE!" John ran to the latter pulling Richie with him and got out of the mine as quickly as possible. His heart pounding as if he were to be running a marathon right after eating.

"What the?" the black armor said. He looked around the crystal he slept in was shattered "What a waste" He said scratching his butt after stretching and sucked his lips "oh well better find Archibald" the black armor-clad man walked into the chamber groggily while shouting "ARCHIBALD! WHERE ARE YOU?"

Outside his apartment, Andy is waiting for his partner to show up to take him to the place where the incident was "I hate night shifts" Andy said with a sigh.

*HONK HONK* "That's my cue" Andy said walking the black Impala. He climbed into the front seat and buckled up. His partner pointed a note pad at him "We meet again fair traveler" "Very funny tony" Andy said sarcastically while rolling his eyes.

"Where exactly are we going?" Andy said shrugging. Tony passed him a bunch of cue cards "To mine at the edge of town where two miners reported something strange".

"Strange?" Andy said one eyebrow raised. Tony moved his index finger in a rolling motion to signify to turn the page.

"Some guy with armor popped out of a crystal".

"Popped out a crystal? What's that got to do with us?" once again tony rolled his finger and Andy went to the next page.

"That man is also releasing an abundance of magical energy they say it's similar to that of a lord of dungeons".

"What?!? Haven't they been dead for centuries didn't they die in the war of a thousand words?"Andy looked at Tony with disbelief. To which Tony responded with a shrug of his shoulders.

"A thousand years have gone. now he is back and just screwing with my night," Andy said with a sigh.

Back at the mine.

The miners sit on the outside of the cave with blankets around them. while the police take their statements.

"And and there was this as a red stripe on his head and it was insane he was like 6 feet tall!" the men said "Calm down" The police tried to reason with them and get them to give a solid statement, but sadly they couldn't.

Down in the cave.

The man in black armor seemed to have woken up a bit and was still looking for his brother.

"Archibald! Where are you, brother? Where could he be?" he said as he walked into a large underground spire like construct.

Out on top.

Andy and Tony arrived. Andy stretching and yawning on exiting the car. Tony pulled out his notepad and wrote something on it "how can you be so nonchalant. When we may be in countering something unheard of?" Was written down on it.

"Becuase if I die then I can sleep plus I don't really care. and on top of that why would they send us if it is true? Why you scared?" Andy asked with a mischievous expression. He pulled out a pair of brass knuckles with strange runes on them.

Tony was visibly flustered behind the mask when he looked away. He quickly wrote down "No!"

"Well then let's get a move on then," Andy said while walking for the entrance of the cave.

"ARCHIBALD COME OUT THIS INSTANT!" he said in an annoyed tone

He enters the center of the castle which seemed to be in shambles. "What happened here. How could this be?" He looked at a mountain of skeletons with armor on them and began to piece things together and as soon as he did he began to run throughout the castle screaming "ARCHIBALD!" His brother who thought him to use his powers. The same man who fought side by side with him and even oversaw his kingdom in the lord's absence. 'He can't be dead NO HE HAS TO BE HER-" He stopped in his tracks and couldn't help but have his eyes water.

On top of a pile of body's who were burned and destroyed either my battle or time. laid a body with a distinct dragon necklace. It was Archibald's body with an arrow piercing his heart.

"NOO!!" He dug his dead brother's bones out of the pile. He wept and sobbed at this sight his brother dead covered in dust and one thought ran through his head "LORDS! LORDS DID THIS." His eyes seem to glow in the helm through his watering eyes "THEY. WILL. PAY." A black aura shot out of the man's body engulfing the room "I WILL DESTROY THOSE WHO KILLED YOU" He looked at the armored body on the ground and found one with a crest on the breast of the breastplate. It was a leopard with a flame around it "I WILL FIND THE PEOPLE WHO DID THIS" His scream rang out of the cave.
