One pen made me special

The party was in one week so I had plenty of time to plan my outfit. During school, I had walked past Josh in the halls. He would always wink at me in this creepy way but everytime I was so glad my friends didn't notice. Of course I still saw Adrien but he would sometimes avoid eye contact. If it wasn't for damn Josh this never would have happened. It's like Josh ruined all my chances I had with Adrien.

Honestly, I kind of regret my decision about going to the party. But I was excited at the same time because it was a party for he seniors. Usually little kids like me are never able to get into a party like that.

The only problem I have about all of this, is what Josh will think of my outfit. I know it's silly being insecure of him judging me, but I remember how anxious I used to get when I was going to visit him when I was younger.

During English, I dropped my pen in front of me. I tapped the person that sits in front of me in the shoulder. He turned around and it was Josh, seriously my love life had turned around in like three days.

He asked, "What is it?"

I could kind of tell he was still mad at me but I just played it cool and pretended that we were still friends.

"I dropped my pen, could you get it for me?"

I had to hurry this conversation up because I knew the blushing on my face would become noticeable.

He leaned over and picked up the pen. But when he sat back up into a right position, he didn't give it back.

I tapped him on the shoulder again. "Adrien, don't be like that, give it now."

He turned around and replied. "But I don't want to give it back, I'll give it at lunch."

He was so irritating. I had other pens but that was my favourite and I didn't want him to break it or something.

"Why can't you just give it back to me now?"

He looked at me straight in the eyes and I nearly got lost in them. "I want to have an excuse to talk to you at lunch. Besides you can use mine."

He gave me a blue plain pen that I knew was special because it was one of those fountain, calligraphy pens.

"Fine, but you better not loose it."

Adrien was less flirty before, at least I think he's being flirty. I've never seen him act like his before.

He put the pen to his lips and kissed it. He put it into his shirt pocket and said.

"I promise I won't lose it because I don't want you to be mad at me. Also has anyone ever told you, you look cute when you are mad?"

He kissed my pen. HE KISSED MY PEN. I think I might be head over heels for this guy. He usually is kind of shy but right now he is so flirty. But I've never seen him like this to any other girl before. He must do this to special girls only. I guess I'm special to him now.
