Chapter 7: Zip lines

Side to side, Haru stood on right site while Ruka took the left. They both grabbed onto each other while putting themselves up the ground as they looked a bit scared, especially Ruka.

"Are you alright Ruka?" Haru asked while looked at her that was changing into the gear.

"Yeah I'm alright, don't worry." She said while trying to reassure Haru.

"If the line breaks I'll catch you don't worry." He laughed a bit which made Ruka a bit angry.

"Don't say things like that idiot!" She said while stomping her feet to the ground.

She got on the seat as Haru also got on. They were facing each other looking at each others faces.

"Now that I'm looking closer at your face I feel that your cheeks are really chubby." He said while poking and stretching them.

"Shtop it." Because of the way Haru was stretching her cheeks, she felt it would break by how much he was poking and stretching them. It felt good though.

She had a relaxed expression as he kept poking her face, which made the people that were looking at them slightly jealous but laughed it off as teenagers doing teenager things.

"Are you both ready?" A woman that was dressed in a professional attire said while holding the both of them.

"Yes." Haru said without hesitation.

"Y-yes." Ruka stuttered a bit as she looked at the height that they were on.

Haru lifted her face and said.

"Looked into my eyes and don't look at the ground below us alright? Don't be scared I'm right here. That's what you said to me right?" He patted her chubby cheeks which wobbled a bit and she eventually nodded while smiling.

"Alright in count of 3!"Haru said.

"3!" Haru jumped off with Ruka as they both screamed, the other screamed in excitement while the other screamed in agony.

"AHHHHAHAAHAHAAHA!!!" Haru was laughing while falling off from the top sliding down through the woods.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" While Haru was having fun Ruka was screaming as she wanted to leave this ride in an instant.

Haru patted her cheek as he wiped the tears in her eyes.

They were spinning around while sliding down the zip line.

"Hey Ruka, open your eyes." Haru said in a calm voice.

"Haru.." She muttered slowly before opening her eyes very slowly. She looked at him while gradually opening her eyes more as she was finally met with a beautiful environment. The leaves that were fluttering while the trees waved as they made sounds.

"Woah....!!" She exclaimed as all of the fear has dissapeared as only the scenery and Haru was there in her vision.

"So what do you think. Its beautiful right?" He said while laughing a bit from her reaction earlier.

"It's beautiful. Extremely!" She smiled brightly as Haru felt his world stop as the man that gave him the trauma started to dissapear bit by bit.

He looked at Haruka's hair, blue eyes, lips. He had the urge to kiss her but that would be problematic. He also needed to respect their boundaries as they had only met a few days ago. He wasn't a man that would go around kissing everyone woman he sees. If he did he have probably been in jail by now.

The environment coupled with Ruka's beautiful smile. It was.. perfect.

He couldn't take it anymore, sorry Ruka. I hope you'll forgive me for this.

As he thought that.

"Haru look at th-" She pointed to a place before looking at Haru who was close to her face as their lips touched each other as she felt something that she hadn't felt yet.

Love.

Both of them were in their max capacity as they were bright red at the moment.

The moment Haru kissed Ruka proposing his love to her, Ruka was in a world full of butterflies and flowers full of life. In the center where a house was placed she went in and saw Haru cooking her food with her children at the table waiting for her to feed them.

"Hmmmhhh..!!!!" She tried to say Haru's name but couldn't as their lips were still connected. She gave up and just let Haru be, she opened her mouth more as the both of intertwined their tongues as they finally finished kissing. Their lips parted as saliva of each others mouth travelled between them.

"..." They were both speechless.

"R-Ruka, I'm so sorry." He said while looking at Ruka.

"W-what do you mean..? It's alright, I, I love you Haru!"

Bang!

A deagle was shot through his heart as he was about to pass out Ruka held him up and kissed him.

"Mhmpapahhh!" He was struggling to breath as he tried to part his lips with her but chose not to, as he just breathed in her mouth.

"Puhak!"

"You almost killed me Ruka!" He said while panting.

"You taste like orange.." She says while licking the insides of her mouth.

"Ruka." He said seriously.

"What is it Haru?"

"Will you be my girlfriend? I know we only met a few days ago, but I've never felt this type of emotion before. The feeling of your heart beating faster and when the world stops for a second when I look at you. It makes me feel weird.. but it feels great."

He said while looking at Ruka as he continued.

"Ruka Sarashina, be mine!" He said outloud while kissing the back of her hand.

"H-Haru.." She said while looking at his eyes that looked more handsome today.

She breathed heavily for a second as she let her feelings out.

"B-be my boyfriend Haru!" She shouted as the birds flew from the trees. And butterflies and roses started blooming. It felt like a work of god as they looked around them.

"Well this is beautiful." He looked around as he held a finger out and a blue winged butterfly appeared.

"It is." Ruka smiled as she also held out a finger and a black winged butterfly flew into her finger.

They attached their fingers together as they said together.

"We'll be together forever." Haru and Haruka said while they look at the butterflies on their finger fly away together.

The old man that was in Haru's mind completely dissapeared as not even a single speck of him remained.

He smiled as he nourished the feeling.

Ruka also smiled and took the cap of their heads and put it together.

Haru-ka

I felt I could have done more with this, but I felt that this was great for my first romance book.
