26: God versus ???

[Chapter 26: God versus ???]

Loki's heart raced as he realized the full extent of the abomination's power. He had thrown everything he had at it, and yet it remained unscathed. The sound of his attack breaking the sound barrier echoed in his ears as the creature shrugged it off with ease. In a split second, one of its tentacles struck him with incredible force, sending him hurtling through the air. The dome shattered around him like fragile glass, and he braced himself for impact with the blood-tainted sea below.

However, as he was about to touch it, his fall diminished in speed, as if time had become slower. Out of the sea flew blood particles, turning the sea into its original pure blue color. And as it was finished, the water gently rose. It trailed down his body, enveloping him.

The dark blue water, untouched by the sun's rays, started to heal his wounds and started mixing with his body. The water soon made a perfectly circular ball spinning around Loki. But as Loki's hand raised itself, facing the water like a martial artist, it fluttered, morphing into a mesmerizing, floating sea.

Loki's emerald, green eyes turned cyan, but in them, the light of consciousness was extinguished. His body acted only on pure instinct and on a desire to kill whatever was in front of him. The world turned even darker, as Loki's vocal cords started vibrating, creating a hoarse voice filled with mysteries. "Die!" he said coldly, letting his raised hand fall.

The floating sea suddenly started flowing in every direction, clashing and mixing like Ying and Yang. The tip elongated, transforming into a fierce spear capable of killing gods. The water flew at extreme speed toward the abominations, but as it came into contact with the abominations' infecting presence, it disintegrated leaving nothing behind. The air turned crimson, vibrating as if unimaginable heat had fallen onto the planet.

And so, as the water disappeared, a thick fog appeared blocking preying eyes. As the ball of flesh made it evaporate, it saw Loki holding a spear in his hand which was thrust at its heart.

*Tsching* the sound of metal clashing against bones rang. A thin creepy white arm seemed to be blocking the spear. A chilling thought rang on the planet as if something much above it had declared the laws of life. "Worthy," it said, changing form, and turning much small but imposer.

It was completely made of ashes and bones. On the side of its head spread many long horns. Behind its back reaching to the ground were four long bones like swords. The air behind it turned bluish-dark, fogging the view into an impossible city. The city was made of unseen details and seemed to be hidden profoundly in the deepness.

Loki's body started glowing, his unconscious mind becoming one with it. His body started turning ethereal, a blizzard spun around him. The unseeable sky was split by a green mixed with cyan energy. His hair turned into serpents as if he were Medusa.

Under the powerful presence of those two beings clearly above mortality, the planet itself seemed to bow. Their energy formed clouds that seemed to clash against each other's. All around them, many of the soldiers dropped on their knees like dominos for their minds couldn't resist the presence of those two atrocities.

Then, silence came. The air seemed extremely heavy. Before, *boom* the silence was broken by a clash of metal against bones. Loki's spear was redirected by one of the bone sticks on the back of the abomination.

"I'm Uzhaathrhath" pronounced the ghastly pale being, before raising its right hand, thus making hundreds of small sticky pink balls arise from the ground.

The ground turned orangish, and the balls stopped in the air. Loki clenched his fists, the balls exploded, corrupting the air with a pinkish glue. A fog pink fog spread, turning every being on the horizon blind.

The sky began being covered by snow, and in the air grew a gigantic snowy stalactite. *Fing* it fell on Uzhaathrhath as if it were the nicest piece of art in the universe. But once again the being made of bones shrugged it off.

Uzhaathrhath extended both of its arms, a rain of bones rose in front of it, and flew at Loki. The god clapped his hands together, and gravity itself became heavier. But the bones continued on their path. So, he whispered something in a serpentine voice, and from his voice emerged a gigantic fang. It opened its mouth and swallowed the bones before exploding in fireworks.

The ghastly pale being froze some sort of smile on its face. It looked at Loki with some sort of awe, "more" it voiced out, with creepy excitement. But at that moment, Loki's body dropped to the ground.

Uzhaathrhath looked at him with a strange gaze, before waving his hand and turning his back. A hundred-meter-long bone flew in the air toward Loki's body. It easily broke the sound barrier as if it were but a piece of paper.

"I'm proud of you. You stood your ground against one of them." An elderly voice said, picking Loki's body in his arm and maintaining every soldier in a bubble of magic. The old man wore golden armor and a golden eyepatch.

He started floating in the air as Uzhaathrhath looked at him confused, and *boom* a multicolored light pierced the sky, hitting the planet. Creating a supernova and exploding in a wave of heat.

But Uzhaathrhath was still alive. It floated in the cold darkness of space, just like Odin and the other soldiers. At that moment, a dark man with golden eyes and a spear behind his back appeared.

He took his sword in his hand, and every soldier in the bubbles, and Loki were taken by another light-piercing space. "Well done, Heimdall," said the elderly man, Odin, the all-father.

Odin then tapped his spear against space itself, making small translucent waves spread to Uzhaathrhath, and then an ineffable sound rang, and before their eyes, multiple planes of existence were revealed.

The fight between those two beings rang all around the galaxy, attracting the attention of multiple cosmic beings. The fight between both of them, while not seen by many, began being called all around the universe as, "The clash of the Mythic Behemoths"
