CHAPTER 3

I arrived at the lake side late only to find him kissing a girl with blonde hair and blue eyes while wearing a crop top and shorts. He was kissing her on the red sports car I got for his birthday.

"Jason , what are you doing?"I asked angrily.

"What does it look like I'm doing" he replied looking at me. "Look I can't do this anymore ,I'm breaking up with you . I've made my mind".

"W- why is it because of her " I asked him with tears and confusion while pointing at the girl.

"No it's because I can't keep up the act any longer , did you think I was in love with you , I could never love a freak like you . I was only using you for money but now I've got what I needed you are no longer useful to me", he said looking at me with disgust and hatred in hi eyes.

"So everything we shared was an act , all the years we spent together was all a lie". I thought as tears flooded my eyes . I couldn't believe it I was living in a lie the whole time.

I stood there heartbroken as they left in the sports car. I broke down in tears and cried on the lake side for a while. I finally left the lake side since it was late and decided to head back home.

I arrived home and was surprised by a hug from my best friend Lily. She looked at me with her big almond shaped eyes and asked if I was alright with a hint of sadness in her voice while looking at my tired face and swollen eyes from crying too much .

" Nothing ,I'm fine just tired from work" I said before leaving for my room. I locked my door before crying myself to sleep.
