Chapter 4: Time Skippu~! Why? BECAUSE I LIKE IT!!!

To reach there, the easiest and fastest way of transportation is through a carriage. But this capital is goddamned big, so it would take hours for a person to reach one destination by walking.

"Heh. Fortunately, I didn't promise to not fly inside the city~..."

With his smile turned into a smirk and kicked off the ground and launched himself into the air. Which immediately gathered attention and caused quite a commotion.

"Heh~. Why hide what you can do and act like a normie? Aside from some people, it's not like I can't crush just practically anyone, right?"

Ace said this not out of arrogance, but out of confidence.

It has already been half a year since the day that Ace arrived in the Knight Capital Lestein, and since then, a lot have happened.

Just like as planned, Ace started as an Adventurer under the name of Ace BladeHeart. I know, a kind of a cliché last name, but, meh... Anyway. I'll let him take it from here...

[Ace's PoV]

Yo~! Ace BladeHeart here~. And yes, such a chuuni-sounding last name, but that's the best that I could come up at that time! So don't blame me!

Ehem. Right, so.... Half a year indeed have already passed, and those days were always so exciting~! In my Adventuring career, I've gone from a rookie Black ranked Adventurer to a stunning Silver ranked Adventurer in just under half a year! My ranking is rising too fast that it caused a sensation. And based on the records, I'm the fastest to reach this rank, even faster than Touya!

Oh, right. Speaking of Touya, the day that I've come to this world, his duchy by that time is already stabilizing and now to this day, I heard that it's already flourishing. Man~! I really want to visit that place! Especially in the future when he starts developing all of those toys~. Maybe, I can even convince him to make something that will let us have a Gunpla Battle! Besides, that was already a plan of his in the novel, but I don't think he was able to make it through with that plan.

Sure, I can just will it into existence if I wanted to, but that's just too boring~! So no, I ain't doing that, I'll leave all the technological developments to Touya. Heh, it's his responsibility as the 'chosen one' of this world anyway.

Now, on to my personal life.

Just like how I have initially planned, I've bought a house. Oh, wait... Let me say it again... I've bought a large plot of land and a broken house.

Why did I do that?

Well for one, the whole area is really big~! And the scenery is really beautiful too, there's even a lake nearby with crystal clear water. It have a beautiful garden with different types of exotic flowers and plants. The atmosphere here is really great(aside from the house), with a high concentration of mana which made the land bloom, made the fauna thrive, and the surrounding flora alive.

Apparently, it was once a mansion of a noble that have mysteriously died. Yes, sounds cliché, I know, but let me continue. So, starting from the death of that noble, one after another, members of that noble house keeps on falling ill and some even disappeared without a trace, and the last nail on the coffin, one accident resulted in them finding a mangled corpse of their family member.

So from then on, it has been on sale and no one even dared to step foot inside its premises or even thought of buying it. Well, that's until I stepped in.

And sure enough, the mansion really did possess a supernatural entity, a poltergeist. A really vengeful and malevolent one at that. Wanna know what I did?

Heheh~! I've materialized gallons upon gallons of the holiest of holy water and bathed the whole broke mansion with it! And all that damned poltergeist could do was scream in agony until it disappeared from the living realm! Buahahahaha!... Too much? Sorry.

Ehem. So, I've burned the mansion down to the ground and materialized a modern villa and placed it in the original haunted mansion's place.

Now, my estate is one of the most unique in the whole capital as a lot of strange(for them) things could be seen here.

It's a three storey villa, a big pool just beside it, and the house is full of technology and appliances. I've also planted a huge ass genetically modified Sakura tree, it's a giant amongst cherry blossom trees, beside the second floor's veranda, just to add beauty to the whole picture. And it's a great decision too, as it gives me a really nice shade when I'm out relaxing there. Yeah, I've made a pool even though I already have a lake. Why? Just because I want to.

It's the comfort and the familiar environment that I've missed... for a few days. Anyway.

I've also managed the surrounding area that I have in my name and erected fences around my whole land. Because you know, one thing that any world didn't lack are thieves. So, as an added measure of security, I've made it so that the fences, when touched by an individual would send out a high voltage of electricity. No, I'm not worried about them getting killed, after all, people in this world have stronger bodies than people on Earth. And I have already recorded five attempts of break-in up to this date, they just wouldn't learn their lesson and take an example. So, I have added another security feature of wall turrets for those who dare to forcefully break in. I've set them not to kill the perpetrators, but also set them to not let them have it easy either. So, they'll live, but with multiple holes around their bodies and a really high chance of being crippled, for life.

Now, I've already thought about a measure of those who tried a magical mean of breaking in. I've erected a barrier with talismans all around my estate. These talismans will immediately nullify any magic performed near the premises that the talismans are not familiar with. So in short, it will nullify every magic activated inside or near the barrier except mine or those whom I registered in the talisman to have the permission. And up to this date, the only ones registered are me, and a perverted old coot.

Anyways. How exactly am I maintaining all these technologies and keeping them running in a medieval world of magic? Easy. Through a super high-tech generator from a sci-fi world, locked up inside the deepest underground and soundproofed basement. To be honest though, it looks like Stark's giant Arc Reactor.

Alright, enough of this. Now to my social life.

I made a lot of acquaintances and even a friend like the Guild's receptionist named Misha, who's a half elf, by the way. Some Adventurer that I've worked with, and that's it. The others, I don't even know their names~. Oh, and sadly, I wasn't able to meet Hilde, but I did met her grandfather, Galen. In disguise though. He just introduced himself as Galen, no title of Former King or Gold ranked Adventurer, so I acted oblivious even though I already had a guess, and was even sure of his identity. And I know, by his experience, he already knew that I have long discovered his identity, but he just doesn't care.

The old dude challenged me into a fight, and no, even though he's the former king of the 'Knight Kingdom', that guy challenged me into a fist fight. Yup, for a knight, he acts like a brute, and a pervert with a serious butt-groping fetish. Anyway, I've won the fight, though barely. Yeah, dunno how but that old guy was able to keep up with my strength in Captain America's level. As expected of a Gold ranked Adventurer I guess... Hm? What~?! You really think that I'll go all out fighting with a sweet, though perverted old man~?! Now I'm hurt...

Haha~, just kidding.

Well, I've made quite a great impression and he even let me call him Galen-old man, though he first insisted on me calling him grandpa, I've agreed but still continued in calling him Galen-old man. He was not able to something about it so he just let it be. Though, he settled in calling me Ace-brat. Such a weird nickname, yet I couldn't blame him, we have the same level of nicknaming after all. He still visits me for spars from time to time and for the comfort and mysticism that my house gives him, though that's only when he was able to escape from his son.

Yosh~! Let's get back to the present time! Back to you, Author-san~!

[General PoV]

Currently, Ace is flying through the sky at a relatively fast speed towards the Guild because of an urgent summon.

Wearing his already iconic get up of form-fitting black shirt, black pants, and his dark grey combat boots with metal platings.

A really light clothing for an Adventurer. Some even called him arrogant when they first saw him, but those who have seen or heard how he fights could only shake their heads in pity at those who threw those words. If someone asked them how that guy fight, they'll just say: Like a demon, an Asura.

And inevitably, it became his title.

Anyway, enough of that. For his outfit though, only Ace know that they are actually more complex than they seem. He can safely say that his clothings were the best when it comes to defense.

After a few seconds, Ace dropped right in front of the Guild in a superhero landing and strolled inside in a carefree manner, even humming a tune with his hands clasped behind his head.

The surrounding Adventurers who saw this, even though they are already used to it, still couldn't hide their amazement, well, especially the ladies~! Ace is just like that, he always have an impact!
