Lexio was not a man known for backing down, especially when he initially thought eliminating someone like Daniel would be a piece of cake.
Now, facing constant embarrassment, he felt his reputation was at stake.
He looked at Leo and said, "You are my man. Attacking you is equivalent to slapping me in the face. I said I'd help you get revenge, and I intend to keep that promise."
Leo continued to reason, "Lexio, in Serenalia we have an old saying, 'A gentleman's revenge can wait for ten years.' We don't have any deep-seated hatred with Daniel. It's probably best to avoid unnecessary conflicts for now."
"Since someone from Congress has intervened, Daniel must have some powerful connections we aren't aware of."
Lexio fell into deep thought.
Despite his rashness, he was still receptive to good advice.
Leo had a point.
The current priority should be the family gathering; this was not the time to stir up trouble.
