ORIGINS I

[**PRESENT DAY**]

A couple of days later, Myles was feeling better.

Nylar paid a visit to him in his quarters

He was still in the process of recovery and as so, was in no shape for any strenuous activities.

"How are you feeling now?" Nylar asked.

Myles, who was now fully awake replied, "I'm good, feeling a lot more better now, thanks."

Nylar sensed Myles had a ship load of questions to asked.

"I'm sure there's a lot you'd want to know at this point?" Nylar commented.

"You have no idea.." Myles replied.

After a brief moment of silence, Myles spoke up again, "What happened to me? I feel..... Different, like something that used to be there isn't. I haven't felt like this since..."

"Yeah, since the ethereal cataclysm that gave you your powers" Nylar cut in.

Nylar took a deep breath and then walked up a metallic chair at the corner taking a seat near the bed.

"The world is no longer as you knew it myles. With Denumbit destroying what was left of the rifts between reality, our realm combined with the ethereal realms. Forming this new reality, this earth-etherea system.

"That..... that was my fault" Myles lamented, "I powered the device he used to cause this, I didn't know"

"No Myles, it's our fault....."Nylar responded.

"How? What are you talking about?" Myles questioned.

"We should have told you..... told you about who you are"

[**NYLAR'S NARRATIVE**]

A long time ago, some yet unknown events unfolded, causing a few of us in the planet to gain abilities. With the uprising of this special humans, chaos ensued around the world, with unworthy wielders of powers wrecking havoc in their wake.

This was where I came in, Kenneth Nylar, a random nobody at the time. I managed to make some alliances and over time, the alliances grew larger, we were able then able to generate enough funds to begin the project CREED (Covert Resorts and Ethereal Exploitation Development)

This was how we started recruiting specially selected anomalies across the world. Later on we came across one highly powered anomaly, wielding powers unlike any other we've ever seen. Jason 'jace' Joseph Jnr, a boy from the bustling city of Nevacore. He had unleashed an energy blast of a fifty metres radius in the city by accident, decimating everything in it's path.

This was our first case with a hyper-anomaly. Although no lives were lost that day, alot of properties was destroyed.

CREED stepped in just at the right time, taking responsibility of Jace and his actions, we settled the necessary dues and offered Jace a chance to be part of our organization.

He was grateful and as well happy that he had been give the chance to become a part of something big, something he can be proud of. He unhesitatingly accepted and went on to become one of the greatest figures at CREED.

Over time we helped him utilize his abilities and become a master of them as well other anomalies and hyper-anomalies who were recruited. We later came to call ourselves 'Agents'.

Fast forward a while down, we recruited;

Michael Walker(Raid) a tech-kinesis guy, capable of manipulating everything technology,

Aidan Wayne(Ripclaw) the mutant-anomaly, who possessed hightened instincts and abilities,

Jack hunter(Mystrø), a skilled hand to hand combatant with acute senses and master level weapon handling skills,

Jonathan Mane(Mane), an anomaly with ability to materialize any object or weapon using nano etherea-cells produced within him,

Scarlet Lane(Magna), the anomaly capable of manipulating the four elements and finally,

the last, Denumier Bitkagar (Denumbit).

These individuals went on to become a formidable team not to be reckoned with, each of them possessing a fraction of power that when brought together, is unstoppable.

However along the line, problems emerged.

Unknown to rest of the squad, Denumbit had long harbored resentment towards the organization for not recognizing his true potential. Feeling slighted and overlooked, he sought power at any cost.

One fateful night, a select of Jon's team had left, on a field mission in the far side of the city, leaving Denumbit and Magna behind for emergency purposes.

In this dire hour, Denumbit decided to put his treacherous plan into motion. Utilizing his cunning and stealth, he infiltrated one of CREED's top-secret facilities.

Inside, he stole the DNA samples of several top agents, including his teammates; Jon, Jace, Scarlet, Jack, Aidan, and Michael, with the intention of augmenting himself with their extraordinary abilities.

Denumbit successfully integrated the stolen the DNA into his own body, giving himself newfound powers that were astounding. He grew stronger, faster, and acquired a vast array of abilities, rivaling even the most formidable of anomalies.

With his newfound abilities, Denumbit maximized his resentments in a full on rebellion, attacking CREED headquarters, catching them off guard. The once secure facility now faced an unprecedented threat.

In the absence of Jon's team, Magna, one of the most skilled agents, stepped forward to face Denumbit. Their showdown was an epic display of power and skill.

Jon and his team arrived just in time to witness the intense battle unfold. However, Denumbit's augmented powers proved overwhelming, and he managed to defeat Magna in a brutal confrontation. The shock of witnessing their beloved friend fall was a heavy blow to the entire CREED team.

Unwilling to accept defeat, Jon and his team rushed into battle with Denumbit. The ensuing battle was fierce, with each member of Jon's team utilizing their unique abilities to their fullest potential. Tytron used his incredible strength to subdue, while Raid used his tech to destroy Denumbit's systems from inside out, allowing Ripclaw, and Mystro to exploit weaknesses in Denumbit's defenses.

As the battle raged on, Jon, fueled by anger and determination, engaged Denumbit in a one-on-one duel. Despite Denumbit's augmented abilities, Jon refused to back down, knowing that the fate of CREED and the world rested on his shoulders.

In a desperate move, Jon unleashed a devastating attack, exploiting a flaw in Denumbit's augmentation. The surprise attack caught Denumbit off guard, momentarily weakening him. It was the opening they all needed. With all his strength, Tytron struck Denumbit down, putting an end to the treacherous former agent's reign of terror.

The dust settled, and Jon's team stood victorious. They had protected the legacy of CREED and managed to avenged their fallen friend, Agent Magna, but scars still remained. As they grieved the loss of their friend and leader, they gradually fell apart, each moving on their personal affairs.
