Chapter 6

Volundr introduces himself to Misla Beal,

"Hello, madam, I am Volundr Agares. I am here to make an offer to you and your son."

Misla turns her face toward Sairaorg ,

"Sai-chan, could you go to your room and finish your homework please?"

" Yes,mom"

Sairaorg go up to his room upstair.

After that, Misla asked,

" What offer are you talking about,Mr. Agares."

Volundr replied,

" I want take you and your son to our family teritory .Our family willing to give sponsorship to your child."

"I don't understand why you make such an offer. Could you explain it to me?"

"You would already know that I am like your son born with little demonic power and no clan trait magic. I can sympathize your son becuase we are mostly the same. Also I believe your son will get strong absolutely. "

"I believe in my son too.About your sponsorship, I think that it is not necessary. This is his clan.I think he should proud of his heritage."

"Of course you have to be proud, let me ask you one thing. How is your health?"

"I am in just some minor illness."

" My report say that you are getting asleep longer and longer. Does it ring a bell to you?"

"You investigate us." Misla snapped.

"Of course I do. Without information you will likely to make mistake. Know yourself, know your enemy."

Volundr added,

"Let me tell you something madam. I think you know your condition the best, at most 1 year, is it?Don't you feel cruel for 7 years old child to stay alone in a land that doesn't want him. Your Vapula clan will not likely to look after him. After you fall asleep, he will be alone in this clan. Think about that."

After a long time silent, Misla speak,

"I know but what can I do."

"Now you can do, take my sponsorship. I will help him grow."

"What is the reason for you doing this?"

"I want allies, strong allies. Helping someone when they are needing help, will make them grateful. I think Sairaorg is the person know how to grateful. He is kind hearted and very determined person. You really raise him well. Also I find my other self in him. I saw the desire to become strong in his eyes."

Volundr teleports himself back to his house. Then go to main mansion, meets with his father.

His father and mother are talking in the room. Seek is watching Gundam as always.

He walk toward his parents , sit beside them and he start to talk.

" Dad,I did persuade Lady Misla Beal.You could start negotiation ."

"Hmm,I will do it as soon as possible."

"You can use me as a reason, could say that I am just trying to help out because me and Sairaorg have the same condition. They don't know about how strong I am. So,they won't see the potential in Sairaorg."

"Good idea." Alden commented.

"Also try to cut clan ties on Sairaorg, if you can. After all, that is great king clan. They will try to take back Sairaorg when he become stronger. After taking back, if any time Sairaorg lose in competition, then he will lose everything again. His strong peerage will be trade out. We can't let them take back or we will lose our investment. "

"I will work on it son,don't worry."

"I will be counting on you,dad."

Volundr then move beside Seekvaira,

"Seek,you are always looking Gundam.Change something, I wanna watch anime too." he teased knowing she gonna pissed.

"No,Gundam is the best. If you don't like it,go somewhere else." Seek protested without moving her eyes out of the screen.

He accompanies his sister watching Dumgam all the evening.

Maeve called her children, " You two, it's time for dinner. Come along."

" Coming" , both shout back.

At dinner table,

"Dad,because of you, Seek-chan addictive to mecha.She is going to become mecha otaku."

Volundr blamed his dad.

"It's not like, you did not involve in it." Alden kick the ball back.

"I like mecha..... I like mecha....I like mecha." Seek chanted.

We talk a lot about our day, latest news about underworld,some funny things.

After dinner, he went back to his house. Sitting on a bench that is facing the lake beside his house, he thinking and evaluating his actions today.

"If I successfully recruits Sairaorg, I will have a longinus user and his strong peerage on my side. I asked dad try to cut ties Sairaorg from Beal clan becuase I am worry about his longinus get traded. Great King clan has many way to threaten him espicially using his mom that is his weakness. Although it won't happen in the original cannon, it does not mean that it won't happen in the future. I have to cover his weakness before it's threat appears. I think there is medical term for that , 'primordial prevention????' . I am becoming crafty, that is a taken, I asked Jia Xu wisdom and talent(the scariest strategist in three Kingdom era).

After I put back my attention to my topic,

"Sairaorg is too young to pratice now. I will give him some light exercises like morning run to get a habit of training. I should also arrange teachers for his education. I will have to consult with his mother about that too. She is a good and wise mom. She teaches her son about kindness and determination.

In about one year, she will fall asleep. I will let Sairaorg accompanies his mom more. I will start his real training when he reach 10. The one thing I like about Sairaorg other than kindness and determination is his leadership skill.

He is a natural born leader, perfect candidate for position of Maou. I will have to train in this aspect of him too.

I am impressed in the canon, all of his peerage member respect him and are very loyal to him. When he got his evil pieces, I will give him info about his peerage in the cannon except Regulus Nemea.

Everything depend on him to recruit them. I think he will make it, after all, he do in the canon. Rookie four, I will have two on my side. If I have a chance,

I will make friends with other two too."

Volundr stand up from the bench,walking into the house.

In the living room, Volundr's peerage members are sitting and relaxing.

Dante is kind of muscle head guy. His dream is a very simple dream. He just want to start family with a pretty wife. He like girls with hourglass body. He is serious in training and fighting. He is not too reckless for a muscle head guy. That is why Volundr like this rook very much. A rook is usually an area defensive piece due to their low speed. They will be assigned to a contested area to take out or block enemy pieces. Calmness is essential for this piece. As a King who is calm and calculative type, he prefers that type of rook.

Siegfried, he has two mode.In normal time, he is a laid back guy who like to drink beer. He is even holding a beer bottle right now.In his battle mode,he changes. He becomes battle manic . He is a dedicated and analytic sword man. Volundr thinks he will be very useful when analysing opponents before rating games or battles. He like to mock people who he deem weak.

Kuroka is the problem child of Volundr peerage. She seems very playful, easy-going, simple-minded, and enjoys teasing people. At least she is serious when she needed to be serious, training and fighting. That make Volundr relieve. Although she does not show much to her sister, it is very clear from outsider point of view that she love her sister very much.

Lastly our lovely Shirone-chan,she is a very curious child. It is much worse becuase she is a cat. Child version Koneko 'kawaii'.

Volundr sit down next to Siegfried,

" Give me a bottle,Siefried.Aren't you a priest? And you are drinking." he teased.

Ps: about training, MC only trained techanique and magic formula till he was 10. He had done some body training from there but not much. That is why he needed a mutated rook to recruit Dante(Shooting star rook in canon).

He only started his body focus training at 12 years old. Because no matter how strong as a child, you are just a child.

Only at adolesence age and later,you will speed up your growth.

Also MC uses magic by using formula like Ajuka Beelzebub.
