Chapter 5

The early Spring of 1985 in human calendar, a devil boy was born. He has green hair with ruby like eyes.He was born with low demonic power, however that doesn't stop his parents, Lord and lady Agares adore him.

After all, this was their first child. For many years, they have been trying to get a child. But nothing happened. After knowing Lady Agares get pregnant, both of them are genuinely glad about it.

Lady Agares, " How you gonna name him,Alden?," while looking the child in her arm.

Lord Agares, " Volundr, his name will be Volundr Agares,Maeve," replied excitedly.

Volundr grow up just like other normal devil child, nothing special. His parents feel over the moon when he started calling Papa, Mama.

His father is a stern looking man with green hair and red eyes but he had kind hearted personality and care about his family.

His mom was cheerful and easy going with brown hair and pink eyes. Both of his parents look like in their thirties.

From young age, Volundr enjoys eating food.He likes chocolate, chocolate ice cream, and thin crispy potato chips the most.

At 5 years of age, he got his previous life memory back. He dreamed every night about what happened in his previous life. As 5 year old mentality, he told his parents about his dream.

At first, his parents thought just a typical children dream. Because of the more dream he had the more his personality changed, his parents worried about something would happen to their child.

As the time passed, they found that their child's mind was matured beyond his age but his core personality did not change much and there is no adverse effects on him. He is their sweet little boy.

They wanted to know about the dream but Volundr did not want to talk about it anymore as he started to noticed these dream are his previous life memories. As for his parents, as long as he is safe, that will be enough outcome for them.

Volundr was a middle age man when he died. He worked as a bank manager. After getting memories back, he does not want to think back about his previous life. He believes that he should cherish what he have now. He has the life he wanted to live also one of the reason for it.

He started his training at 5 years old. He believes his effort will paid off. And it did. At the age of 16, he has high-end high class battle power. He has calm and careful personality. Because of that personality, he chose to focus on training only a few selected abilities , even in magic he choose to specialize defensive, enhencement, teleportation.

After getting Talos Karma, he find he need to focus either hand to hand combat or spear techanique, one must be abandoned due to the need of his longinus training. He recognize himself that he is not a genius like Vali. After thinking about a long time, he chose to focus on hand to hand combat and ready to take on power route.

16 years old Volundr is handsome young man with ruby eyes and center-parted wavy green hair(like hair style of Gong Yoo in Goblin 2016). He is

6 feet 2 inches tall and has a body like MMA fighter not too thin or too muscular.

He was usually seen in his training suit. If he go out or have to attend formal gathering, he would wear any dark color modern fit suit with waistcoat, and suit chain brooch with Agares crest.

Volundr is thinking,

" From now on , I will focus on my hand to hand combat, strength,durability, endurance and speed. I will be taking power route. My rook Durante aka Dante is power type. My knight Siegfried is techanique type."

" My bishop Kuroka is more focus on support type and jack of all trait. I should have reincarnated her with pawns. No, I don't know that will make her weaker. She is very talented in magic, I think that bishop piece is more suitable for her."

"My peerage will have 2 power route people including me. So I need wizard type the most and one more techanique type. I will need at least 2 wizard type, 1 techanique type, one more power type. That will be my focus searching pieces for my peerage. During the trip to Asgard, I will have to convince her, Odin and her family. She will be one of the most important part of my team and I need her."

After waking up from his thoughts, Volundr go to main mansion. The reason is that he need to discuss something with his dad.

"Miya, where is my dad?"

he asked to one of the maids who is cleaning in the living room.

"Sir Agares is in the library, master Volundr," replied Miya.

After hearing the answer, he head toward the library.

'knock,knock,knock'

"Dad,can I come in?" he asked.

"Come in," Lord Agares answered.

In the library, he see his father reading book while drinking coffee from time to time.

" Dad, I want to discuss something"

"What is it?"

"You know Sairaorg Beal and his mom was exiled to country side after discovering he has no clan trait."

"So...,what do you want to do? Explain."

"After he was exiled at the age of two, it has been four years since he and his mom was in country side. I heard he is been bullied by low class and middle class devil. I can sympathize him after all I am like him but I am luckier than him. I want to take him in."

" You want to put him in you peerage?"

"No, that's not what I mean. I want to train him to become a King of his own peerage. He is a high class devil, no matter what he can get a set of evil pieces. Although the Beal clan does not do anything, I am pretty sure that his mom definitely prepare a set for him ."

"How do you want to support? "

"I will take them into our teritory, arrange a place for them to live in, support financially and arrange Sairaorg's education. "

"It will be difficult, the great king clan is not so agreeable."

" Dad,they think he is a waste. With just enough chips, we can make deal with them."

" Do you think he will become strong?"

"Not think, I absolutely believe he will get strong."

"Alright, I will arrange it."

"Dad, you should personally go to negotiate with them."

"Fine", Dad groaned.

"I will go to Lady Beal .I have to persuade her."

"You can't go there without sending formal notice to Beal clan. That is in their teritory. "

"You can send notice now. After persuading Lady Beal, I will notify you so that you can start your negotiation then."

After teleporting to Misla Beal's house, Volundr is in front of the gate. He looks around found that a 6 year old is being bullied. They are playing on the street. If you look carefully, you will find that a kid is being a target. That kid is Sairaorg , a kid version. He is pretty cute. Low class and middle class devil child bullied a high class devil child,why? The reason is very simple 'Jealousy'. A high class clan kid from noble clan was abandoned, he was natural target for everyone.

"Hey kid, yes you,could you come here for a moment? I want to ask you something. "said Volundr .

"Yes, mister", said Sairaorg and he is running toward Volundr.

" Why are you playing with them? You know they are bullying you. Why couldn't find someone else to play with?"

" These are the only ones who played with me."

"They are bullying you right. Why didn't you cry?"

" Mom said a man must not cry. Crying does not solve anything."

" Don't you hate them for bullying you?"

"Yes, I did. But I hate for my weakness more."

"Weak for now does not mean you will be weak forever.

"Yes,Mom said, if you don't have demonic power than you can use your body to become stronger."

"Your mom is a wise lady. She is right that you can become stronger by training your body like me."

" You, who are you?"

" I am Volundr Agares, I am like you, a devil without clan traits. Although I am much luckier than you,you and I are much the same. I come here to inform something to your mom. Is your mom inside the house?"

"Yes,she is."

"Can I go in"

" Yes,yes, come in.I will show you the way."

Volundr follows Sairaorg.

In the living room,on a chair beside a window, Misla Beal lost in thought. Then She heard her son talking to her, she turns around look at the direction of the sound.

"Mom,this gentleman have something to tell you."

Misla Beal,stand up and greet at the guest.

"Hello,nice to me you.Who might you be, mister"

Volundr introduce himself to Misla Beal,

"Hello,madam,I am Volundr Agares.I am here to make an offer to you and your son."

PS: I make the age of highclass devil child recive their evil piece to age of 12, you can see when Rias reincarnate koneko and Kiba, she is pretty young. Not young like kid. Also 10 year is pretty young for choosing their peerage, that is just a kid. 12 years old is adolescence age, they can make their own decision more inteligently. After all, this is not pokemon world.
