Chapter 15:
Lilith PoV:
This is sick.
The policemen were outside interrogating the caretakers. Everyone was confused and panic-stricken.
May's parents just came home and were left in shock and disbelief. Why wouldn't they be? After all, Their daughter has gone missing.
The atmosphere was tense. Everyone's auras formed a thick, dark puddle of grey-shaded dark blue. It almost choked me.
I was researching more about my abilities that I lost track of time. that's when I came to know she was missing.
She escaped through the window, then tied the blankets as ropes and just jumped from the window.
I sprinted out as fast as I can and didn't look back. I stopped to catch a breath when I reached her house.
two policemen were collecting evidence for their investigation. People were crowded outside her house.
this is bad. where could she be?
I put my mind to working out all the possibilities:
No, she couldn't have run away, she would never.
