Snow Wind Family - Side Branch Courtyard - Inside Ye Xiao's study room.

*knock knock knock*

Ye Xiao still doing some paperwork when he heard someone knocked the door.

"What's up?" Ye Xiao asked while continued to do his chores.

"3rd master, Young master Xinghan wants to meet you." Head Servant Feng's voice floated from the other side of the door.

"Xinghan?" Ye Xiao raised his head with confused looks, he instructed calmly "Let him in."

Then, the door opened and a small head sticking out.

"Father.." Ye Xinghan greeted his father politely. He still felt awkward when facing the father he got out of nowhere.

After all counting his mental age, he probably around the same age if not older than Ye Xiao.

"Is there any problem with your practice and learning? Or you just want to spent time with me?" Ye Xiao said while smiled slightly. 

This son of his was really changed after the accident. He was usually playing with other servant's kids and a little bit naughty.

But now, he spent his time reading books and practicing on the courtyard. His temperament also drastically changed, now the calmness he shown wasn't something that supposed to appear on a kid. Although Ye Xiao was very glad with these things, he couldn't help but to be concerned because such a drastic changes.

And this afternoon, Ye Xinghan even brought two children with him. 

They were really dirty and unkempt, they looked very similar to orphans on the slums.

Fortunately, Ye Xinghan now became a bit of clean freak. He sent them to be cleaned by the maids first before being brought to his room.

When Ye Xiao heard the maids gossiped, he learned that one of the children was a female, and she was extremely gorgeous, while the other one was a boy and had disgusting face.

Probably the reason Ye Xinghan wanted to meet him was related to those children.

"Hehehe, do you know that I brought 2 people with me this afternoon?" Ye Xinghan asked.

"Yeah, Head Servant Feng told me. A boy and a girl around 13 years old, I even heard the girl is really pretty. Don't tell me you are interested in her and want to make her your concubine?" Ye Xiao narrowed his eyes.

"Son, you are only 7 years old. Focus on learning instead of thinking about opposite gender. Your little one probably can't even work yet." Ye Xiao kept blabbering without giving Ye Xinghan chance to explain. He even wriggled his index finger during the last sentence.

"OF COURSE NOT, FATHER. WHY DO YOU EVEN THINK THAT WAY!!" Ye Xinghan shouted loudly. His veins were visible on his forehead.

"Son, I was just worried that you will become like those Sacred Family midgets. They went to brothel everyday and destroyed their future." Ye Xiao hollowly laughed. 'It seems that I misunderstood the situation' he thought.

"I have so much thing to do rather than wasting my time on it. Rest assured. Anyway, you need to check it yourself." Ye Xinghan said, then he dragged Ume into the room.

Ye Xiao patiently waiting the excited and nervous Ume to calm herself. 

"So, what's your purpose of bringing her here?" Ye Xiao asked after Ume managed her composure.

"Can you employ her? Being Ye Qingyu's baby sitter perhaps." Ye Xinghan asked.

"Well, being your sister closest aide isn't a simple matter. We need to check on her background and conduct to make sure that she is absolutely safe to be trusted. But since you are the one who brought her here, I guess it doesn't really matter." Ye Xiao replied instantly.

Ye Xinghan knew that Ye Xiao wouldn't really put an importance to Ume just because this thing. So he continued, "Father, I need to show you something."

Then, he brought out a used crystal and gave it to Ume, he said "Pour your heavenly energy and show it to my father."

Ye Xiao watched it silently, probably Ye Xinghan wanted to show the talent. 'If it is yellow color soul realm, I guess its okay to spent some effort on her.' he thought.

But, his expression slowly changed when the crystal started shining.

'AZURE!' Ye Xiao gasped.

'SHE IS AN AZURE SOUL REALM. A HEAVEN PROUD TALENT'

"You guys wait here for a moment." Then, without waiting for their response, Ye Xiao stormed off.

Ye Xinghan calmly smiled as Ye Xiao passed by his side.

"What is he doing?" Ume tilted her head and asked. 

"Let's wait. Prepare yourself." Ye Xinghan said. Ume only nodded and she continued to looked around the room.

Approximately 5 minutes, Ye Xiao came back while panting. He looked out of breath.

"The entire high ranking figures in Snow Wind Family have assembled. Follow me!"
