Life of the Space Hero, Ota (MHA Fan-Fic)

This hasn’t necessarily been dropped, I have plans to maybe rewrite the book in 3rd person or a different theme, and I’ll probably repost it in the Fanfic section. But I’m hella lazy and working on the book off and on again. Michael was just an average high school student from America. One very hot day while walking home he meets an untimely death after saving his best friend and his girlfriend from an impending death. He is then reincarnated into Ota Hachiro, in the My Hero Academia world. (Author Note: This is my first novel ever written so be prepared to see hot garbage. Feel free to leave comments criticizing so I can hopefully improve.) WARNING: I’m very lazy. I’ll try to release 1-2 chapters a week, but most likely, updates will be inconsistent. Also, I don’t know how the story will progress. There might be a harem and some r-18 content in later chapter so be prepared.

I’m in MY HERO!!!

I woke up from my nap cradled in my new mother's arms. I looked at my mom, 'Jesus, you look awful.' What do you expect? She just gave birth and was currently snoring. My mother is surprisingly beautiful; she has thin lips and a rounded but pointy chin. Her nose is a little bit on a smaller scale -overall, a pretty good facial composition. I am happy to have her as my new mom.

I know to some, it might seem strange how lax I am in my current predicament, but it's just how it is. I can't fight the fact that I am here now. I could cry, which would be taken as a good thing from my new mom and dad, but it wouldn´t solve anything. 'No, I think I'm going to live this life even better than my last. I should not see this as the end of my old life but the beginning of my new life.'

I steel my resolve and look around the room, finding a clock on the opposite side. It shows that it's 10:15 pm. My father is sitting next to my mother and me; he's currently holding mom's hand. He looks at me, and I look at him. My dad's face is very rounded, if not a bit chubby. His nose is rounded at the end as well, giving him the appearance of a jolly lumberjack or old saint nick himself in his younger years before all the cookies.

'Sup, come here often?' I bounce my head up, acknowledging my dad. He looks at me strangely before smiling, excited about the fact. He goes to grab mom's shoulder to wake her up but then stops himself realizing that that would've been a bit rude.

That's weird; anyways, I look back down at my hands and try to move them. They act like tiny, little worms wriggling around. I have terrible control over them. I then try to speak, it comes out a grumble and a few pffts, but not near coherent. I resign myself to try again another time. Seeing nothing else more enjoyable to do, I close my eyes and drift off to sleep.

The following day I wake up to the sound and the reverberation of what I can only assume to be a meteor. I open my eyes and look outside the first-floor window only to find a gorilla man jumping up in the sky and coming crashing back down. 'What… The.. Fffffuck..??''

Not long after this an even stranger thing occurred, a big bulky man, even sturdier than dad, comes flying through the sky, landing in front of the gorilla man. 'Wait a minute, haven't I seen that guy before?' Golden hair extends from his head in a V-like hairstyle, he also has this big ol' shit-eating grin on his face, and I could swear he was currently chuckling. He also had this weird onesie on that was white, gold, blue, and red. Then he speaks a thunderingly loud catchphrase..? "Fear not citizens, hope has arrived because I am here!" Although said in another language, I now recognize that language as Japanese because I have heard that line in Japanese countless times.

….'Holy shit, holy shit, holy shit, BROOOOO. That's fucking All Might!' It just hit me! I died and was reincarnated into the My Hero Academia World. 'Wait, does this mean I gotta start thinking of onesie designs because that's kinda weird.'

Time Skip (1 year)

It's now been exactly one year since my reincarnation into the My Hero World. I've learned quite a bit of Japanese now. I guess being a mentally 16-year-old teen inside a baby's body with nothing else to do kind of has that effect.

Well, no bother, I haven't gotten my quirk yet. 'God, I hope I got a quirk, even if it's lame,' but my mother has an interesting quirk of foresight. It's not that noticeable or overpowered; she can mainly just know when someone's about to drop a cup and catch it. Or if she's feeling fun, she opens the door right as someone's about to knock. It's amusing watching the mailman look weirdly at my mom and have a minor existential crisis. 'Jeez, what an evil person, I hope she doesn't become a villain.' I thought sarcastically.

My dad, on the other hand, has a telekinesis quirk -now that's cool. He trains it, too, and I think he's a small-time hero with it. I watch on as he picks up the fridge to let mom look under it for something. "Dad's strong!!" I raise my baby hands in the air, cheering, "Woooooo!" My dad looks proud and does a heroic pose showing off his bulky build while still holding the fridge with his powers.

"Daddy, I FLYYYY!" I raise my hands into a superman flying position. My dad understands what I mean and starts using his telekinesis to fly me around the room safely. It's not fast at all, and my dad controls where I go. "Weeeeee!" 'This is great, a little dangerous but way exhilarating. I've never even flown in a plane before, but I can tell this 10 times better.' He continued to float me around the room and make me successfully stick the landing. 'A little dangerous but quite fun.'

My dad speaks, a gruff but somewhat soothing voice comes out, "Haha, your dad is super cool, huh?" I raise a thumbs up, "The coolest!"

"ABE!" I look over at my mother, Chie. She's looking furious at my dad. "What? He asked to go on a short flight. I was in complete control of the situation and didn't even let him go faster than 3.5 kph (about 2.2 miles per hour)." My mom did not appreciate that answer; however, "What if you lost control? He could've fallen and gotten hurt!" My mother hurried over to me and swooped me up in her arms, "Are you OK, Ota? Any pain?" It actually wasn't as life threatening as my mother has made it out to be. "I'm fine. FUN!" I gave her a giggle and a smile, which seemed to deescalate the situation quickly. "No more flying in the house. Only when Ota is older can you fly him around outside under my supervision." My mother looked sternly at my father. My father had no way to refute; he nodded in agreement and rubbed the back of his head in embracement. 'What a fun day.'
