Suspicious

The people I just meet surrounded me..some of them did, while four of them didn't move from their spot, one of those four is Red the one wearing the glasses

..but that doesn't mean they don't want to hear my answer..I have a feeling they wanted to hear it like the crowd near me

The question is pretty long as it got many words that doesn't make any sense..but I heard him say..'Where do you live?' ,

That must be the question, I thought before answering with the image of my home in mind

I remembered the soft garbage bag there's a lot of them in the place I was staying but almost all of them smells like poop, but smell aside they make a great bed

"If I'm lucky enough I could sleep on a soft bed"

I said and some of the people near me began to stare..like they were trying to melt me

I added a lot of words to my answer..

Like the free food I could receive (Searched from the trash bag)

The accompany of many friends (cockroaches)

And last but not least a place I could sleep comfortably without being beaten half to death (Somewhat true)

After finishing..imagining the garbage place that I call my home..

I opened my eyes just to be barrage by questions...and compliments

"Your not lying are you?"

"Where did you live?"

"Is it true that you get free food"

"Many friends you must be lucky"

"Can we go to you're home?"

"Yeah I wanna try your bed"

They barrage me with question that I have no idea how to properly answer...so I just picked a question I could answer without stuttering

"You can visit my home tomorrow"

I said and seconds after someone yelled...and the voice was coming from the rundown house

"Boys get inside we have to tell you something, and bring the new kid"

Almost immediately everybody stand up...

Red also moved..he approached me and quickly grabbed my hand

"Let's go"

I entered the inside of the house once again...

But it looks different this time...

A large table was placed in the middle...and multiple wooden chairs surrounded it

"This chair is mine"

"I'm sitting near boss no one steal my chair"

All of the people present chatter with each other...while grabbing a empty chair they could occupy

Red was no different he grabbed two chairs and sat down one of them...

"Sit here"

He said to me patting the chair...

I sat down and moments after, no noice was made...as everyone was quietly sitting in their respective chairs...

"Ahem...we wouldn't eat yet as we have something to discuss"

The one that everyone called boss spoke breaking the silence...

"As you all know, we are basically outlaws, and jar was it?, saying he's our member even though no one in this group knows him is just suspicious"

"He even targetted the only one of us that has a bad memory...no one could say that it's a coincidence"

"But it's already dark and you all know how many bad things happened in nighttime.."

The boss take a deep breathe before continuing

"So...he should stay here for tonight..he's a kid so leaving him alone outside at nighttime...is just..anyway where outlaws...ummm were not murderers"

Boss finished his long sentence...basically I need to leave tomorrow that's how interprent his words and I'm no means wrong cause I found out my answer hold some truth when I heard some of the kids mumbling with each other

"So he isn't gonna be one of us"

"I like his name though"

"If he's not one of us can we still visit his house"

"...red could you ask him"

The guy with the glasses who I was sitting beside, grab the side of my shirt..maybe it's to get my attention

I look towards him, and he said

"The kids was asking if they could still visit you house?"

Hearing his words I pondered for a second...

I can show it to them...and it could also be seen as a payment, I did lie about being part of their group...even though its obvious that I'm lying they didn't kick me out...they are good people

With that in mind..I nods they're just gonna visit my home nothing else

"Yaay"

"Yes I could have free food"

"I'm betting with my pet rock that he's lying"

"Oh yeah, I bet with my pet grass that he's not lying"

The guys near me murmured..

"I guess we could eat now..right boss"

Wite asked, he is sitting right next to the one they called boss,

The boss nod in agreement and said

"your right..boys you could-

But before the boss could finish his word wite poke his shoulder and whispered some words though him

"Oh almost forgot...some of you go get Arwin and don't forget to apologize I heard that you mock him"

All of them except wite and the boss stand up from their chair...and approached the door

As I don't want to be alone with the person they called boss I also stand up and followed along

I look back to the two and sighed in relief that they didn't call for me..I was certain they would, I lied about being one of them they are also suspicious of me..

It didn't take that much time for them to find Arwin, they saw him in a branch of a certain tree

I looked up wondering to who Arwin was and its the same guy that grabbed my hand and brought me to this place

So he's Arwin

"Arwin it's time to eat, and boss wanted to see you"

One of them shouted...but the only response that Arwin give them is nothing

"As expected its gonna be harder than usual"

"This is you fault for laughing so loud"

"You can't blame I couldn't hold it"

They murmured to each other
