The Grimoire of Life and Death didn't give the gifts for his offerings right away; instead, it informed him about something.

[The temporary owner will be gifted with the following six items. They are:]

[1 Venom Warding Potion: Upon drinking it, the consumer will be immune to almost all Grey-ranked poisons and even some of the Green-ranked poisons for one hour]

[2) Shadowsilk Rope: A special grey-ranked item that could restrain the soldier-grade monsters for an hour and even sergeant-grade monsters from 10 seconds to 1 minute depending on how powerful that particular sergeant-grade monster is]

[3) Quaggoth Black Blade: A grey-ranked item that increases that attack power by 10 percent]

[4) Quaggoth Essence Crystals x 3: The cultivation resources for the Quaggoth Spiders to increase their strength]

[5) Quaggoth Essence Crystals x 3]

[6) Quaggoth Attack Talisman: A grey-ranked item that contains one of the Quaggoth Sergeant's Attack could deal significant damage even to the Sergeant Grade Monsters]

Soon, a list of items and their brief information was shown on the [Commuication Page].

"Grimoire, if you can give me a gift for every 10 Quaggoth Servant Corpses, can you also give me a single gift for all 62 Quaggoth Servant Corpses?"

Aeon took a brief look at the items; however, he was calm as he thought of something interesting. Hence, he asked the Grimoire of Life and Death about it.

If he was able to receive some good gifts by combining 10 Quagoth Soldier Corpses, then Aeon was curious about what kind of gift he would receive for 62 Quaggoth Soldiers combined.

Currently, Aeon was hoping to get one high-ranked item compared to a dozen low-ranked items because he already has enough of them and could get more if he wanted to.

Venom Warding Potion could be useful in an emergency. So, it was not a bad item to have.

'With this Quaggoth Black Blade, can replace the Goblinbone Dagger that was sacrificed after triggering the Goblin Set Bonus.'

He swung the black blade a couple of times and nodded his head in satisfaction; however, Aeon knew that his attack power from combining both the blade and dagger was still not enough to kill a Quaggoth Sergeant.

'If my guess is correct, I need at least double my current strength to kill a regular Quaggoth Sergeant who was not blessed by a Quaggoth Queen.'

Even though the Quaggoths are one of the weakest monster races, their defence drastically increases with their grades.

So, killing Quaggoth Sergeants was not something Aeon could do with his current strength and assumed he knew twice his current attack power.

'Now, the last two items.'

Aeon looked at the last two items and unconsciously revealed a slight smile before muttering, 'Among all the gifts from the Quaggoth Servants, these two items are the best.'

A special grey-ranked item that could restrain even the sergeant-grade monsters and a talisman that could release one of the Quaggoth Sergeant's attacks.

How could he not be happy about these two items?

'With the help of this talisman, it can make up for my lacking attack power; however, I can only use it once.'

Aeon knew how valuable the Quaggoth Attack Talisman was, for the current him and silently thought, 'Since I can't increase my cultivation level until I enter the Celestial World Tree, receiving these types of talismans could be very helpful in killing sergreant grade monsters.'

'Let's travel in a different direction tomorrow and find some different monsters and at the same time, look for the traces of Goblins.'

After today's battle along with his journey, Aeon was tired and decided to rest for the night.

Just as Aeon was able to sleep, his hand touched an old tattered book and upon looking at it closely, Aeon knew what it was.

'This book belongs to the Goblin Captain I killed.'

Previously, when Aeon was searching for the Goblin Captain's corpse, he found this old book; however, he was not interested in it much and tossed it aside.

After receiving the gifts from the Grimoire of Life and Death and reading the information on them, Aeon had completely forgotten to check it.

'I wonder what is written in it.'

Aeon was curious about what's inside it and thought to read it.

'T-this is…what language is it?'

Upon opening the book, Aeon saw some strange symbols which he could not read.

'These must be goblinoid symbols.'

However, Aeon could recognize the pattern of the symbols. They were the same as the symbols on the Goblinbone Totem.

'It is useless if I can't read it.'

Since Aeon was unable to read it, he thought to toss it aside again; however, he suddenly remembered something, 'There is no loss in giving it a try. If it works, I might gain some useful information from it.'
