Chapter 32 The Fall

"Phillip." Vines called, crossing his arms and observing the strange sight of fairies roaming around the forest. "What the fuck happened here?" He said with such a condescending tone.

"I dunno, all we know was something go boom and then we go out of the kingdom. We like this place better!" The fairy nodded. "You're all getting yourself killed if you're just exposing yerselves like this." Vines told, walking past the many fairies.

"The lady took my friends in her little bag! I hope they're ok!" He said with a smile. "Of course she did. She'll probably turn them into toothpaste." He groaned, clearly annoyed.

"What's toothpas-" Vines then places his hand on the fairy's mouth. He stays quiet and calm, lowering his body to a bush.

Small men with swords walked around, searching around the area. They all had brown glowing eyes. Even the fairies were staying away from these men.

"Dwarves..." He then emerged out of the bush, sighing.

"What are you all doing out here?" He asked, Phillip sits by his shoulder.

The dwarves looked at him, the glow in their eyes disappearing. "Oh Jake! It's you!" One of the dwarves cried.

He crossed his arms, his eyes widened when he was called by his first name. "Why are you all out here? You're exposing yourselves." He told.

"We are looking for someone, a very important man. You may know him as Drew!" Another dwarf told. "I see. Why would he be here?" His face steeled itself.

"We don't know, that's why we're going to ask him once we find him. You have any idea where he could be?" Another dwarf asked.

"Why 7 dwarves deployed to find one man? I could have sworn you'd send your elf slaves to find em for you." He told.

"It's a personal matter. I suggest you heed no mind to us." The main dwarf told. "Yar all smiths! You carry blades instead of your hammers! And don't think I didn't notice them glowin' eyes!" He yelled.

The dwarves then readied their blades, their eyes glowing once more. "Then you must die." The dwarves then jumps towards him all at once with all their blades pointed to him.

He then stepped back, placed his foot on a tree trunk and then pushes it down on the dwarves with ease.

The fairies surrounded him, gasps of awe and praises touched his hidden pride. He smiled a bit. "Somethin' tells me this day is about to get weirder." He then continued his walk to the Valley...with fairies following him.

Drew led the Nurse to a pile of rocks, then he lifts up a disk with those rocks on top of them, revealing a large hole.

"That's a pretty big hole for a small guy." The nurse told with a snicker. "Shouldn't we wait for Vines?" He asked.

"No need." She smiled, seeing the man walking towards them with an army of fairies surrounding him. "Motherfucker...did you get fucking captured by these fucking fairies or you just fed them some shit?" She walked towards him, looking at all them.

"What's going on here?" He sighed, straight to the point it is then. "The shortstacks got compromised by some fucking orb of destiny or some shit. Apparently there's Civil War going on. It's Chayna Town all over again." She groaned. "Hmm, you're saying it may disappear as well?" Vines told. "No, the massacre part." She then looked at the hole.

"Petal, we're going to have to talk when we get back...AND WHAT'S WITH THE FUCKING FAIRIES!?" He finally snapped as one of the fairies was touching his ear. They all cheered him on for no reason at all. Some fairies peeked from Drew's beard. "Did you bring a bag?" Petal asked. Vines handed it over to her with no hesitation and goes to Drew.

"Come on you little shits, get in the bag!" All the fairies obeyed, with the nurse laughing to herself.

"So, you two...are your two together yet?" Drew asked. He frowned. "Have you lost your mind? We're about to return to an ongoing civil war. Speak plain about the situation." He told. "Right...me wife's got a place ready for you both. We can discuss more details there." He told.

The nurse then carried the bag of shaking fairies over her shoulder and tosses it to Vines' back. "Shall we?" She then jumped into the hole without waiting for an answer.

"One word regarding our relationship, your head's gonna be the new tavern logo." He then jumped in after her. Drew just sighed. "This is ridiculous..." He then followed.

Petal landed the ground safely and gracefully thanks to the fairies slowing her fall, she then walks out to them see a cozy room made out of stone. "Mama Drew's Inn, motherfucker can't give her mum a break huh?" She then slumps the fairy bag down and sat at the bed.

Vines then walked in as well. Drew just went for the door. "You two stay here. Have ta check up on those eye glowers." He then left. Vines and Petal looked at each other. "You wanted to keep me on the fucking bed for no fucking reason huh?" Vines began. "Well I bet your fucking body's still sore, you almost took fucking fall damage. LOOK AT YOUR LEGS!" She then pointed at blood pouring out of some of his skin. He gasped, looking back on Petal. "I only called you with the Fairy just so I can settle my fucking deal with this dwarf." She groaned. "What's the deal?"

"Free gear commissions. Can't pass that up. Free shit is free shit." She told. "I recall vowing to never take up arms." He told. "Well that fucking changed when you killed Eric, they're gonna be after your ass. Now lie down real quick." She stood up from the bed, making space for him.

He then does so, there was no reason for him to not trust her in a situation like this.

She then immediately lifted up his shirt. "Let's make some emergency surgeries before shit goes down, hey shits!" The fairies peeked out of the bag. "Get out here and give me some fucking lights!"

Drew was about to knock at the door, then hearing some strange grunts and yells from both individuals. "We're doomed."
