Chapter 53

"Ana, I'd be in my room in case any of my friends come around", I told Ana after finishing my breakfast with Jennie. I was just feeling very down in the morning but what I needed wasn't rest, rather a solution. I needed a relevant and effective solution to Ryan's health problem before everything got out of hand.

"Which of your friends are you really referring to?", Ana asked just wanting to listen to what I have to say.

"Ana. Please I just said any of them. How many friends of mine do you know?", I said and walked out on her. I headed straight to my room to think things through carefully.

I knew Ryan has never been a good person to me but I just found out he turned heartless because he was framed by a lady just the same way I hate guys because I was rape by a guy. I knew I shouldn't blame him for whatever he did and what he needed that instance was someone to talk to not someone who would condemn him, and I was ready to be there for him so I could also experience the old Ryan just like the others.

"Jennie,I think i have a plan", I told her after we sat on the bed with crossed legs as if we were having some meditations.

"You finally know what to do?", with her curious self getting control over her sense, she asked.

"I'm not really sure of this but I'm just wondering "

"Just let it out miss Hart, even your thoughts can help this country's economy ", she teased.

"We both know Ryan is in a tough situation at the moment so we will first have to be there for him. We have to make him trust us even though that wouldn't come easily", I started earning an 'are you being serious gaze from her'. "Yeah I know what you are thinking but what else can we do now?", I continued making her shrug.

"But Ash, what about the relationship between Ryan and Keenan. Don't you think we need to settle that first?", she asked making me give that a thought but we can't force them into any action concerning themselves.

"Let's just leave that to them, they know what's best for them", I told her and she agreed with me.

"So are you going to tell Keenan about Ryan's critical condition?", she kept asking me questions one after the other. She got me confused asking such a question since I didn't know the best thing to do.

"What do you think we should do about that? Should we tell Keenan or not?", I threw the question back at her since she hadn't tried solving the puzzle on her own.

"Well, I think telling Keenan about it can also help build their relationship again since they still care about each other but they try to hide it". She had a point. For the first time she has made a suggestion that was on point.

"I didn't look at it from that perspective. You are absolutely right Jennie but how are we going to tell Keenan about it?", this time it's my turn to throw questions at Jennie.

"That's not something too difficult to do", she said ending with a wink getting me confused. "We will just have to make it a coincidence ", she ended. Okay so now, I was confused as to what she had in mind.

"What are you saying Jennie?"

"You still have the report right?", she asked.

"Yeah, what about it?",

"We just have to make sure it gets into the hands of Keenan. Problem half solved", she said feeling so full of herself. I totally understood what she was saying at that point but I thought it wasn't right.

"Don't you think Ryan will get mad if he finds out about it?", I couldn't stop myself from asking.

"There's nothing to worry about my dear, I'd get that done clean and clear", she spoke like a gangster.

"If you say so. But first things first, let invite Ryan over for some games", I said talking my phone from the bedside table.

"Is that even necessary?", she asked with furrowed brows.

"Have you forgotten already? We have to get him close to us in order to convince him"

"Yeah right. I need to catch some sleep first and I don't even think I can be part of that game", she said and laid down on the bed.

"What do you mean by you won't be part?"

"I have my own plans for today miss, get yourself a guy to love. No more questions", she said covering herself with the blanket .
