Chapter 52

I was totally confused after finding out the truth behind Ryan's unconsciousness. Everything was happening so fast that it wasn't getting easy to analyze.

'Does Keenan know about Ryan's condition?Of course he will know judging from how he reacted after I told him what happened to Ryan. Or maybe he doesn't know it has gotten worse. Is that the reason for Ryan's sudden change in attitude?', lots of questions came popping in my head as I was trying hard to find answers to them.

"Ash"Jennie called out bringing me back to the real world.

"Let's talk about this tomorrow Jennie, I really need some rest",I told her and walked to my room.

I knew Jennie wouldn't let me sleep in peace if she doesn't get the explanations she needed but I wasn't the one going to give her that and I needed some privacy too to think things through.

"Jennie?", I called out her name when she tried to climb the bed to my side.

"What's up?", was her response

"Can you use the room next to mine? I need some space.", I requested of her.

"But…"

"Please Jennie, just for today&quotI pleaded with her before she could speak out since I wasn't ready for any of her complain

"Sure", she just answered and walked out.

I laid down flat on my bed trying hard to process all that was going on . I wanted to call Ryan instantly but the other part of me wanted to wait till morning. But how was I going to talk to him about what I had found and how was I going to convince him to undergo the transplant? Even though he had not been a good friend or classmate to me, I never seized to care about his health not to talk of his death. I didn't know how I would react if the next news I hear in school will be about Ryan's demise. I had to find ways and means to convince him so he would live. I had to find out more about Ryan's past as well so that it would be easier to convince him. I thought deeply before naughty slumber took over my senses.

"Ash. Jennie. It's morning", Ana called out. She had turned into our morning siren since I turned mine off in order to enjoy my sleep. Jennie walked into my room after called out since she was the one who always obeyed the alarm first.

"Good morning my lady", she greeted when she woke me up with the shuffling of her feet in the room.

"Good morning. How are you doing?", I responded.

"How else can I feel if not good", was her response as she walked to the bathroom." How was your night?", she asked from the bathroom.

"Normal", I didn't have anything else to say apart from giving her such a respond.

"Yeah right. Did you get any answer to the problem at hand?", she inquired.

"What problem are you talking about?", I asked knowing very well what she was talking about.

"Stop the games Ash, you know exactly what I mean", she scolded.

"Can't we at least have breakfast before talking about that?", I asked and joined her in the bathroom. We took our bath together before going downstairs to have breakfast.
