Chapter 4

I slowly opened just to find myself in my room on my comfortable bed. I was really scared to death that I was covered with sweat.

" Did you have that nightmare again?",Juliana questioned.

I nodded shakily and she pulled me into her embrace. Ever since I returned from the hospital, a night never passed by without me having the same or similar nightmares. Those always felt so real that it even adds up to my fear of guys. I took my phone to check the time, it was still midnight.

" Can you stay by my side till morning?",I requested of Juliana.

"Anything for my princess",she replied and laid beside me.

I slept in her arms so peacefully still morning. I woke just to realize I was alone on the bed meaning she already woke up to perform her duties while I was still in bed. I didn't feel like going to school so I deliberately closed my eyes and covered myself with blanket when I heard Ana's footsteps approaching my room.

"Princess, come out for breakfast or else you would be late for school",she called out.

"I'm not well Ana", I replied her sounding weak

"You just come down first then we would know what to do later", she insisted.

"I'm too weak Ana, I can't even walk"

"Oh gosh, this girl would kill me", she murmured and came in.

She placed her palm on my forehead to check if I was really not okay.

"Just tell me you don't want to go to school instead of telling me you are ill ",she pinched my cheek.

"Okay you got me there", I rose from the bed

"Why don't you want to go to school?, she asked raising a brow

"I just don't feel like it"

"What if….", she was about to talk plenty when the phone began to ring.

It was mum calling. I didn't know whether to answer or not for the fear of being questioned about why I was still at home.

"Pick up the call", Ana said handing over the phone to me.

"Urhm hello mum", I spoke first

"Hello princess, how are you doing?

"I'm not fine mum "

"What's wrong? I'm coming home now ….", she started rumbling.

"Relax mum, I'm just missing you"

"Geez Ash, be serious ", she warned

"But mum you took it too serious and besides I have Ana by my side ", I told her

"Anyways I'm coming home with your dad"

"Really?", I asked happily but surprised

"Didn't you say you missed me, so u don't have to go to school today",

"I did but this is a bit strange ",I said curiously.

"Just relax, you just do t have to go to school",

"Okay then, I'd be waiting for you ", I said and hanged up.

I jumped out of bed and began running around the room happily. Ana just kept staring at me as if she had seen a different person.

"My staying at home has been legalized by Mrs Elena Hart", I rejoiced

"Your parents are coming home right?",Ana asked worried

"Yep"

"Do you have any idea about this sudden home coming?", she asked again

"Well, I don't but she said everything is fine", I said without giving a second thought

"And you believe her?"

"Come one Ana, she didn't even sound worried, you are rather making me feel worried"

"I'm sorry miss, let's go downstairs to get something into that tummy of yours", she teased.

"Yes ma'am ", I replied jokingly and we both walked out of the room.

We ate breakfast together and sat quietly waiting for our special guests.
