Chapter 11

'I need to get to school early today', I thought as I sat at the edge of the bed yawing. I walked lazily to the bathroom to take my shower.' I stopped having nightmares when I decided to change school', I thought while I took my bath.

"Ash ,are you awake?", Ana called out.

"I'm taking my bath, Ana", I replied.

"You can't be serious "she said and walked and walked into the room." What's with this change?", she asked.

"I just don't want to be late", I simply said

"I hope you keep it up ", she said and left the room.

I finished taking my bath and applied the necessary stuffs I needed on my body and headed downstairs for breakfast.

"I can see someone is in a hurry to show off her now look in her uniform ", she teased upon seeing me.

"Come on Ana, stop it"

"I don't think I mentioned anyone's name"

"What do we have for breakfast?", I asked ignoring her jokes.

"Pancake, egg, tea and oat, whichever suits your taste", she replied.

"I hope you didn't put salt in the tea", I teased her.

There was this day Ana mistakenly poured salt into the tea instead of sugar so I just liked to tease her with it sometimes. I ate quietly and left the house after disturbing her just a little. I didn't want to be weak anymore, I wanted to go back to my old self, having lot of friends especially males and I also wanted to drop my rudeness . Upon reaching the gate, I greeted the security man nicely and handed over to him a package I got for him on my way to school to thank him for helping me .

"You didn't have to bother", he said refusing to take it.

"I just wanted to show my appreciation for yesterday so please don't decline", I convinced him.

He accepted it and said goodbye before I drove to the compound thinking I was the first person in school but I was late. There were three blue sport cars of the same brand already parked in the compound .

"I'm late, I murmured and parked next to the third car. I was angry because I wasn't the first person to be in school so I walked towards my locker to get some essential things I'd need for the day and headed straight to my class. I saw Ryan sitting comfortably on my desk, Reuben on Keenan's and Ryder on Jennie's.

'Please don't cross their paths', Jennie's words hit me in the head so I decided to get a new seat.

'Don't let their presence intimidate you', mum's words rang .

"I'm not crossing their paths, they are crossing mine", I convinced myself and walked towards Ryan because he was on my seat.

"Hello", I said to him as a way of greeting but he didn't respond

"Hello", I called again but he seemed not to have noticed me.

I hit my palm on the desk before he turned to take a glance of me.

"Would you excuse me?

"Are you aware you are disturbing my peace of mind?", he finally spoke then he turned his attention back to his phone.

"I am the one occupying that seat" I said pointing the desk he was relaxing on. At the end of my words they just broke out laughing except Ryan. 'What was so funny about what I said'c I thought. They continued laughing till Ryan signaled them to stop.

"I'm sorry miss, I think I like this seat so you can find a different seat for yourself ", he said coldly but politely.

'How can he be so politely rude?', I asked my thoughts.

"Why don't you find yourself a different seat instead?", I wasn't ready to give up.

"Do you know who you are talking to?", he asked with a smirk.

"Ryan Parker, Reuben Hensworth and Ryder Moscovits , the R3 guys?", I mentioned their names while folding my arms."

"Mmmm I see you already did a background check on us, how interesting "

"Now if you don't mind, I want to so please transfer your body to anywhere deems fit to you", I insisted.

"You have the guts to talk to me that way?", he got up from the seat angrily.

He held my chin and pushed and pushed me to the wall. His beautiful grey eyes were glimmering with anger. He pressed me hard against the wall that I was out of breathe, that was when I noticed the class was almost full.

"Next time you talk back at me in such a disrespectful tone, you are really going to enjoy my torture in this school", he said and released me, " I'm letting you go this time because you are new to the environment, enjoy your stay", he added with a devilish smile and walked out of the class with his minions following.
