What Darkness Truly Is, and Isn't

Perhaps I have made a mistake, but it is easily corrected. I have assumed that my readers would be Initiates looking for "an edge" or maybe even "light" reading for my comrades in arms. I have taken a lot for granted about my readers and this ongoing, secret, yet global conflict for humanity.

Admittedly, the Legion has done an excellent job of keeping the war a secret for the past 2000 years. Still, if it were to one day come to light, the basic tenants need to be explained. Now is an excellent time to clarify several things.

The first question you probably have is the same one that burned a hole in my brain for the first years: What is the Darkness? The answer is as simple as it is complicated. If you've heard of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, then you have the superficial part of the answer.
