By the time Lin Yue woke up, it was evening. She looked at the ceiling and was confused about where she was before remembering the little conversation that happened between her and her master.

"Ashhhh." She frowned, feeling herself getting anxious about the battle she had the nest day. She just hoped that her master could find a way to tell her about the kids' skills.

Getting the blanket off, her small fair feet touches the ground before her gaze travel to locate where her shoes were, and soon, she found them and walked out to the main hall.

However, her master appeared to be very busy as inside were the other four elders.

"Master, the Bai, the Chu and the Xia family will surely attend the final battle next week." One of the elders 👵 that Lin Yue recognized as Elder Ke said.

"Yes." Lin Han nodded in support. "But we still need to invite them. There should be some middle-grade families, such as the Si family and the Ma family that are showing signs of prosperity these years."

"Agree."

"Yes." The other two elders supported.

"Invite the five families then, not too much and not too many." Said Lin Huang, eyebrows raising lazily as he watched the elders.

"Yes, Family Head." The elders bowed.

In no time, the news spread like wildfire and became the hottest topic being discussed by both nobles and commoners in the capital.

The seven elders sitting in front of him waited patiently for his order and after a long time. he finally opened his mouth.

"Just find an excuse for them, we are not going.''

The elders nodded, no one voiced their objection, after all, they all know about the power that was about to be balanced... or maybe imbalance.

The moment the matriarch saw the invitation letter, she didn't even bother to look at it but sneer instead.

"Why do I have to care about that family? What benefit could it bring."

However, the Xia family was different.
