Contract

Her eyes widened, her whole body trembling.

The other boy wrinkled up his nose but soon nodded, his gaze landing on the young girl with a pale face and dazed look.

"Is–is she Lin Yue?" He asked carefully.

Lin Hu sighed, ready to say something when Xie Mingzhu's eyes shot open abruptly.

"Run! Some soldiers are coming!"

Lin Yue blinked, turning sluggishly over to her mother, probably didn't hear what her mother had said.

Xie Mingzhu sighed, carrying her daughter into her arm, and started leading them deeper into the forest.

After running for a long time, they saw a huge tree and Xie Mingzhu placed down her daughter and look at the other two kids.

"Hide behind this tree, I will go and battle those men," She turned around as she look at the men whose footsteps were getting closer and she warned more last time.

"No one should come out, or else, we will all perish here."

Saying this, her long blue sword manifest into her palm as she flew towards the men.

"That's her! Catch her!"

A soldier's voice could be heard and three grandmasters appeared.

"Lady Xie Mingzhu, how about you hand over your daughter and the sword to us, we promise to save her little life if you did this." One of the men steps forward and persuaded, earning a sneer from Xie Mimgzhu.

"You..." The man glared angrily and then laughed sarcastically.

"Lady Xie Mingzhu, it is our honor to end your life then."

Saying this, he shared a look with his men and they nodded, three of them charging towards Xie Mingzhu.

"Water spike."

Xie Minxgu fought the three men at the same time with all her strength.

"Yue'er, don't worry, Aunty will be fine." Lin Yu said softly, patting Lin Yue's back as gently as he could.

But soon, the glow started to glow brighter.
