11. Count Kyle Murdoch

Samuel was in a daze and it took him about a minute to digest the incident that just took place.

'Huh!! Did I fail ?'

'But how ? They didn't even let me show my swordsmanship'

'Am I that untalented to fail an entrance exam that are held for beginners '

' I have been practicing for almost seven years now I thought I had no problem passing this Kind of test. Did I take it too lightly ?, Was I too complacent and arrogant? ,What am I gonna say to my Family ?.'

Thousands of questions where floating through Samuel's mind as he couldn't grasp the sense of reality and his mind was chaotic.

"Let's go to the Inn now. I have to carefully plan and think what to do next."

"I guess the examination is over now right I'll be leaving then. " Count Kyle said after giving a lazy glance at the examinor.

"Yes Count Thank you for you're Hardwork" examinor replied while trying his best to hide his disgust from his face.

"Heh !! ,You can tell that too can't you. I hope this Academy realises this fact too and pays me properly for my hardwork"

"Absolutely I'll bring that to the academy members"

" Forget it What can a lowly examinor like you can do ? " Count Kyle replied with a distain on his face.

"You're right Count what can a lowly person like me can do. "

Examinor said while forcefully keeping a smile on his face. After making sure the Count left he inwardly cursed.

"Fucking Bastard !!! Huh !! Hardwork and you there should be limit to how thick skinned one can be."

"I know you have already filled you're pockets by passing children's of nobles and merchant's who bribed you while rejecting others by making up stupid reasons." The Examinor sighed it was the same as last year, this bastard kept accepting students of those who paid him even if they never held a sword while rejecting others by making various excuses.

One of the most common excuse he used to reject student's was them practicing Basic Swordsmanship as majority of them who don't have the resources to learn other famous swordsmanship have practiced Basic Swordsmanship.

"If we go by this person's logic more than half of Azaroth Continent is not qualified to hold a sword. "

the Examinor shook his head as Count Kyle said he is nothing but a lowly examinor he has practically no influence in this Academy. and no high nobles or even the Royal Family are gonna raise their voice as they are also among the one's who bribed the Count.

"Who Knows how many great talents our kingdom lost due to this swindling pig "

Count Kyle Murdoch, Son of Vincent Murdoch and the only heir of the prestigious Murdoch Family in Valta Kingdom.

Due to his excessively high background, everyone around him pampered him to no ends, which caused him to grow excessively arrogant and severe lack of empathy.

In this case he could be considered quite similar to his father, but despite gaining every minor feature similar to his father, he couldn't inherit his father's talents.

His father was a Cardinal Rank Magic Swordsman, a pillar of this nation and as his only son, he had several eyes gazing upon him.

Thought he was considered pretty talented, but it was nothing if he compared it with his father, and after receiving all the luxury and flattery he felt entitled and refused to put efforts to prove himself, which led to his current pathetic state.

'Why the hell do I have to work hard ?, My father is a Cardinal Rank Swordsman ' he thought.

Kyle already felt, the authority his father wielded as his own, while causing constant troubles and abuse without thinking about the consequences.

Due to his father's teachings, he grew up to be a blood supremist, who felt nobility should be entitled to everything.

But due to his own inferiority complex, he felt extreme hatred towards the talented individuals.

Among them those he hated the most were talented individuals from Common background.

He makes sure to thoughrogly humiliate them and break their spirit before rejecting them, to fulfil his own vanity.

It was also one of the main reasons ge became an instructor of an academy rather than managing his estate.
