Chapter 30: Battling the Blood Wolf King

Tony moved in front of the Blood Wolf King with a flash, blocking its path. He then activated Double Slash and sent four black and white blades of light slashing at the King's big frame, completely sealing off its exit.

"Zhi! Zhi! Zhi!"

The Wolf King suddenly squinted its blood-red eyes as it howled, releasing an intimidating power. It then took a step back, its right paw punching toward the convergence point of the Four blades of light.

The four blades of light shattered. The Blood Wolf King then took a step forward and swung its left paw, blood light covering the paw as it flew towards Shi Feng's head.

The whole process had happened in the blink of an eye, and the Blood Wolf King had launched its attack a lot more accurately and faster than many expert players.

However, the instant the Blood Wolf king's paw struck Tony's head, it felt as if it had struck air. Taking a closer look, the Wolf King discovered that had only hit Tony's afterimage.

Meanwhile, Tony had used Ghost Step and arrived behind the Blood Wolf King. He then used Lightning Strike.

The Lightning Strike fainted state effect, which lasted 4 seconds, could only stop the Blood Wolf King for only 1 second. However, for Tony that was the only thing he needed to cast his new skill Flame Wave.

The power of lightning and fire assaulted the Blood Wolf King as -400 lightning damage and -1000 flame damage appeared above its head.

Suddenly another explosion happened as the flame and lightning affected each other.

For one minute neither of them was able to hit the enemy, such a fast fight can make any player dizzy as a single mistake can spell his doom. However, Tony was feeling as if a kid got a new favourite toy. This fight pushed his combat capacity to a higher level, as be it control over his body and movements became more refined. Tony reduced his excess movements even more throughout the fight against the Blood Wolf King and strengthened his defence to the point where now he can protect 8 spots this made it easier for him to keep up a bit with the Wolf King's speed.

However in the next three minutes, the Blood Wolf King started breaking Tony's defence and landing some hits, his little defence couldn't hold the wolf's great destructive power.

"Damn taking on this stupid wolf head-on is really pushing things a little too far" Tony smiled bitterly in his heart as he looked at the Blood Wolf King that grew increasingly fearless the more it fought.

Getting his HP back to full made Tony more confident in his fight against the Blood Wolf King. Like his (Sword Barrier) which needed not only to swing his swords fast and accurately but he also needed to predict the enemy attacking pattern to a certain degree. Now he was ready to use the techniques that made him famous throughout the Abyss Battlefield.

Blood Wolf King suddenly could feel an intense threat of death emanating from this figure. activated Blood Rage, becoming immune to all control effects and increasing its Strength and speed. It then brandished it at its adversary. Suddenly, eleven blood-red claws wrapped around Tony.

Tony was like the moon's reflection in the water; although the Wolf King could see him, it always failed to hit Tony's physical body. Meanwhile, the Wolf King's HP also continuously decreased.

For a moment, Tony had completely suppressed the Blood Wolf King…

At the moment Tony was using a secret Footwork technique known as the Mirage Step, a technique that leaves behind a presence with an afterimage piled up on oneself to blur one's own figure. Suddenly the Blood Wolf King's body turned crimson, shrinking by half. Its paws also transformed into blood-red with black patterns all over them. A pitch-black aura of death surrounded the paws. This was the ultimate skill that the Blood Wolf King had in its arsenal [Blood Sacrifice]

This was a broken skill that can change the flow of the battle easily, Tony knew that it was the last phase of the battle and he should push himself beyond his limits or else surviving the Berserk Blood Wolf King would be impossible.

Pushing his senses to the limit as Tony started executing both (Sword Barrier) and (Mirage Step) at the same time which both an enormous burden on his mental strength, for Tony if he couldn't end the fight in the next 10 seconds his mind will not hold it anymore and he will pass out.

So without hesitation, he used his own berserk skill [Bloodlust]

entering a Bloodlust state rais strength, constitution, and agility by 200% for 20 seconds, after that enters a weak state for 5 minutes.

Then Tony executed (Mirage Step) two times instantly, the Blood Wolf King attacked the two Tony that appeared in its field of view, only to sense an imminent doom as a third Tony appeared from its behind.

Tony's barrage of attacks not only heavily injured the Blood Wolf King to a great high, but it also left the monster with only 150 from its full HP. However, at that moment Tony already hit his limits as everything around him became blurry and he started to lose consciousness. Tony now was a lamp that was waiting to be slaughtered by the enraged Blood Wolf King.

Although the Blood Wolf King was in a worse state than Tony, the monster was still able to move even though it was almost crawling, it was still better than Tony who no matter how much he told himself to move, his body couldn't move anymore.

When the Blood Wolf King was only 3 yards from Tony, something unbelievable happened. The Humming Blade suddenly flew out from Tony's hand with a shocking speed and stabbed the Blood Wolf King in the heart. Even when the Blood Wolf King dropped dead it didn't know what happened, it was as if the sword teleported into the heart of the Blood Wolf King instantly.
