13 Ch.13 A new begining.

After finally getting my revenge on Hayley and Mathew I was finally free of my past. I was free to look forward to my long and immortal future.

I was riding my bike towards Mystic falls when suddenly my surroundings changed and it was not like a change of scenery it was like something fundamental had changed and the world still looked the same but it felt different.

I continued to drive and I concluded that someone was messing with time, there was another explanation someone can change the world without tampering with time, which was also scary.

I still rode my bike and again it changed but this time it felt a lot grimmer and I had a feeling that someone was messing with something that they shouldn't I still drove but during the nightfall, it changed again and everything went back to normal it was very confusing and I thought that I was losing my mind so I decided to rest before moving again.

I found a roadside motel and decided to stay for the night and will move again in a day. I tried to sleep the night hoping that I will be free of my nightmares.

While I sleep something did happen, I was visited by my mother. She came into my dream. I woke up on a bed and the room looked like my room, I was confused as to what this dream was. I then went downstairs and called out to my mother "Mother are you there?"

I knew that it was a dream but please let her be there. I got an answer "What do you want I am making breakfast?" I went to the kitchen and there she was making breakfast. I called out "Mother?"

She looked at me and asked "You slept in. Now go and brush your teeth otherwise no pancakes for you." tears then fell down my cheeks and she came close to me and hugged me and said, "What happened did you have a bad dream?"

I started to cry a bit and she said "It is fine I am here." As I looked up I saw her melted face and I was woken up from my dream. I was covered in sweat and out of breath, it looks like I am now just having nightmares about my Mother and not Hayley and I still think that is an improvement over having nightmares about both of them.

I then got out of my bed got ready and went to get some breakfast according to me I should arrive at around 7ish at the school. I then got onto my bike and rode it off to Mystic falls.

I arrived at Mystic falls it was 8:15 pm, I didn't drive that fast on accounts that I might not be all that stable. So I arrived late I arrived at the school and the school was a bit empty and I was confused as to where was everyone.

I then heard someone singing so I followed the voice, it lead me to where everyone was I followed the voice and found her singing it was Josie, she was wearing a beautiful blue dress.

I walked up close and she saw me and I cheered her I have seen her many times, laughing and smiling but this was somehow different from anytime that I had ever seen her.

When she was singing everyone was looking very happy probably because they might not have seen her like this.

When their performance was done everyone gave them a standing ovation. She looked at me and I looked at her and I somehow felt happy. They then went backstage.

Then Hope came to me and said "You are back."

I said, "I am and let me thank you for helping me with my stuff."

She said, "It was the part of the deal."

I then saw Landon and asked, "So did you guys bury the hatchet?"

She said "Somewhat, he forgave me for making him leave the school and now we are acquaintances, he helped us in defeating monsters. But if you were here you would probably just chokeslam it and it would probably die."

I said, "Well, I love that you are so optimistic and trusting in me but there might be some things that even I can't get rid of off."

She smiled and said, "I somehow doubt that."

I then looked around and saw Josie and I said "I would love to catch up with you Hope, but I need to see someone right now."

She was confused and said, "I am Hope now?"

I said "Well, you are my friend, so I thought it might be appropriate. Well, now if you excuse me."

I then walked up to Josie she was waiting for me, I smiled and said "Missed me?"

She pouted and said "No."

I said, "Well, I missed you."

She smiled and asked, "How did you like my performance?"

I said, "Could have been better if you weren't eyeing me."

She slapped me on the chest and said "Like you weren't eyeing me?"

I said, "Oh, don't get me wrong I was." I then looked at her and said "Do you want to talk somewhere else?"

She said "Let's go"

She then took me to her room. We entered her room and she said "Some tea?"

I needed Alcohol and a strong one at that but I said "Yes, please."

She then brewed some tea and gave me a cup and asked "So did you finish your business?"

I said "I did, I am now completely free from my past."

She then looked nervous and asked, "What did you do there?"

I said, "I got even with Hayley."

She said, "Oh, so now you are like over her?"

I said "Yes, definitely over her, Well, I was long over her I just needed to see her once more and burn down the last bridge."

She said "Good, good, good, listen I have something to say."

I said "Yes, what is it?"

She said, "I don't know if you want to hear this but I really like you and I just wanted to tell you that."

I said "Well, I like you as well, Josie but I don't know if I can date you."

She was hurt and asked in a broken tone "Can I ask why?"

I looked at her and said "You are soo full of light Josie and I don't know if I deserve to be someone like you. I... am scared that if I showed you who I am you wouldn't want to be with me."

She was angry and got up and said "That is such bullshit we all are flawed but that doesn't mean that we don't deserve love. Just tell me the truth."

She walked up to me and said "I don't care for looks and appearances, I like you, you are sweet, kind and helpful to others you tell it how it is. I want to be with you for the person you are and not because of what you might be."

I then turned into my other form and she looked at me and I said "You sure about that? Cause this is who I am a Half-demon and a Half-something."

When she first saw me she was taken aback I was tall and my skin was red my wings and tail were also showing, most of my clothes got ripped off. I then turned around I didn't want her to look at me.

She walked up close to me and she turned me towards her and said: "I am still here and I am not going anywhere. I don't care that you are a demon or whatever you are still Lucas to me."

I sat down and said, "Josie I am a... murderer."

She was shocked and then she asked me "Who did you kill?"

I said "I killed Hayley and her dad and a witch-hunting priest. They both murdered me and my mother. Burned us both alive." I then told her about how Hayley betrayed me how Mathews tortured my mother before killing me and my mother.

She then looked at me with sympathetic eyes and I couldn't look her in the eyes I stood up and said: "I am a monster Josie who killed people would you still want to be with me?"

She said "You are not a monster Lucas, you took revenge for you and your mom and those guys are also murders killing people who are trying to change. You didn't do anything wrong. You just exacted revenge on those people who had wronged you."

I said, "How can you find good in me Josie?"

She came close to me and smiled and said, "You just have to look for it and I still know that you are a good person in your heart." She then leaned up and kissed me.

I then kissed her back and then I changed back into my human form but sadly my clothes were gone. They were shredded and came loose.

She looked down and was red and awkwardly said "Your pants."

I smiled and said "Ah, I forgot about that. The clothes get ripped."

She then laughed and then kissed me again and then someone opened the door and it was Lizzie and I then quickly tried to cover myself but my hands weren't enough. Josie then stood in front of me and Lizzie quickly closed the door and said "At least lock the door before you do the nasty."

Josie then turned around all embarrassed and I smiled and she then started to laugh and I looked at her and just wondered 'How can someone be soo wonderful and what did I do to deserve her?' I then kissed her and she kissed me.

After suffering for a long time, I finally had some semblance of peace and love and I will do anything to keep it in my life. I will no longer think about my past and by the looks of it, my future looks good.

I have a few questions I would like to ask you guys

1. Where do you stand if I changed the canon of the bible, particularly who came when and who is the son of whom and all that good stuff.

2. Hayley is dead for sure and this is not a question this is a statement. She will not ever appear physically in this novel ever again. And I am not pulling a Bonnie with Mc's mother. She is alive but not on this plane.

3. I would like to respond regarding Mc lying to Joshep and Mathews, yes he lied in a sense, but the thing is he lied to his enemies and not his friends, the Mc is truthful and not dumb. That is all I would like to say about that.

4. No Mc can not eat souls, for now, he never tried it because I am not sure if the other Ip allows for demons to devour souls or not.
