The old man slammed his fist on the table, shocking the four corners of the tightly enclosed walls. His face was turning darker and uglier by the second as his nostrils flared in anger.
"How dare he schemed against us! We! His grandparents! The backbone of this family!"
The old man spat out, yet a flash of pride flickered in his eyes before it turned dim again.
Heh, leave it to my grandson to even dare to challenge me.
The old woman sighed as she sipped her wine, not one bit intimidated by the old man's anger. She was used to his short temper and violent like ways. Even from years that they have known each other, he didn't changed. He was still the grumpy man who resort to violence to resolve everything.
