Valentine

14th February, it was valentine and Subaru birthday. The girls at school were in uproar by making chocolates and bought presents for Subaru. Unfortunately, Subaru didn't come to school again due to work. It disappointed the girls but they didn't give up. Subaru's locker and desk were full of presents and chocolates. He was one of the 3 top school princes in the school. The other two were the twins. Sora was popular among the girls because he was friendly, sociable and very gentle, plus good looking. As for Ao, he had a total opposite character from Sora. His coldness made the girls heart melt and he was cool. He always kept his cool, not letting anyone distract him. The twins also got lots of chocolates. Sora accepted the girls chocolates yet Ao refused because he didn't like sweets but the girls never given up. They put the chocolates in his locker and desk early in the morning because they knew this would happen for sure.

Rei made chocolates for Subaru and the twins. She made dark chocolate only for Ao. She wanted to give the chocolates to them but she couldn't because it felt so difficult with the girls were surrounding them. Before she realized, school has ended. As usual, Rei went to roof but she didn't read books, she sighed and mumbled," how can I give these to them.."

Luckily, she had given one to Sora when she accidentally saw him alone in the corner of the school's cafeteria. The problems now were Ao and Subaru.

*grek* sounds of someone opening the door.

It was Subaru. He sweated so much and panted as he ran all the way to the roof.

"Good thing you were here! I thought you have gone home. Lucky me, I make it in time!"

Rei eyes were wide open to see the figure in front of her. She thought she wouldn't be able to give it to him, this was her chance!

Rei walked towards Subaru and stood in front of him and gave him chocolate and a birthday present, a clover keychain.

"Happy Birthday!" Rei was so stiff when she said it but Subaru just giggled seeing her expression and thanked her.

"Rei, you're so cute when you're red", Subaru smirked and ruffled her hair lightly.

Suddenly Subaru's phone rang. It was a call from his band members asking him to hurry. He apologized to Rei for not be able to spent more time with her today and dashed off to work.

Rei sighed once again wondering how to give the chocolate to Ao. Just when she was about to walk to the door and left the roof, she heard a sound like something fell. She walked to the source of the sound and found Ao there.

"Ao-kun?! Why are you here??" Rei asked full of astonishment.

"I'm taking a nap here and hiding from the girls. They are so persistent."

Hearing Ao answer, Rei felt a uneasy since she made chocolate for him. She didn't know whether he would accept it or not so she hid the chocolate behind her.

"What are you hiding?" Ao came closer to Rei and peeked to see what's behind her. He saw the chocolate and understood why she hid it.

"Is that for me??" Ao asked

"Eerr..well, yes. B-but you don't need to eat it. You hate sweets so it can't be helped. Sss..ssorry, don't mind me" Rei stepped back and lowered her head a bit.

"Give it to me."

"Eh?"

"I said give it to me"

Rei gave the chocolate to Ao just as he ordered. Ao opened the plastic and ate it in front of Rei. He commented,"not bad"

Rei's smile bloomed. She was really happy that Ao accept it.

"You finally smile" he whispered," you haven't smiled even a bit since the Christmas party, I'm a bit worried but thanks goddess you're alright." He gave her a faint smile.

"Let's go home, it's getting late" Ao walked to the door followed by Rei.

"Rei, is it Giri Choco*?"

Rei nodded. Ao didn't say anything and just smiled but his smile looked kind of in a pain.
