12 Chapter 11: Enrique

"Cobra may have gone rogue but at least he prevented further damage of the city with his meddling. What concerns me is Enrique Sebastian who is currently in the loose!" There was a heated argument between the members of Hydra in the room.

The Hydra are holding a secret meeting in a famous hotel in the capital. In the meeting they were investigating the actions of their members who have gone rogue. As long as they allow them to roam free, they will jeopardize and expose the organization for what it is. They cannot allow such a thing to happen.

"Here is Enrique, he is seen at the Qina embassy in Tondo days earlier. Whatever his business may be? He is dragging the name of our organization to the mud." A loud man said in front of the other members of the organization.

"Whatever they may have done in the past does not condone their actions in the present. Something must be done to these rogue agents of ours before it is too late!"

An old man stands and spoke to Manuel, "May I have a word if you would mind?" The old man then continues. "Manuel, you may have a point. But we cannot be sure of their actions if they benefit our cause or not. Cobra's interference with Haneef al-Sader's operations in the city have prevented damage to nearby towns and cities. Despite being undercover, he remained contact and received instructions from our superiors..."

"So you are saying that we assisted terrorists in destroying our countrymen's homes and lives?" Manuel interrogated him.

"Know your place Manuel!" A member reprimanded him, the old man signaled him to stop talking and continued.

"Our meddling with this country's affairs may be both benevolent and malevolent. We have purpose in our agenda and that is the "true" independence of our country. Not the facade that we currently have under the disguise of Atlantican autonomy. Until we answer to the west, we are not truly free!" The old man finished his statement.

"But at what cost Mr. Sergio Sebastian? He may be your son but he is causing us headaches. Something must be done to his rebelling attitude." Manuel continues.

"This is rather a personal and family matter Mr. Manuel Panelo." A tall skinny man replied to his fat colleague.

"I believe you are late Mr. Reylando Torride." Manuel Panelo said to the newcomer.

"Indeed I am, I have errands that I did and some investigations done. Here is what I have found." Reynaldo hands documents to the members of the panel.

Seeing the documents the five members of the panel were shocked and surprised to see pictures of Enrique. He was doing transactions and meeting with people of different nationalities. His recent pictures were taken in Toledo, Hispania two days earlier.

"I would like to ask of Enrique's recent activities and what he is doing meeting with these people in such places? One of the most controversial is his visit to the Qina ambassador on September 24, 2021 C.Y. It is the same day that reports of massive hacking in government agencies was made." Reynaldo explained the pictures that he handed out.

The old man Sergio is silent upon seeing his son's activities for the past few months. He is clueless in what he is doing and believes that he may have turned rogue. It is true that Hydra is a secretive international organization. They meddle in the country's affairs and have partners abroad. But for Enrique to tarnish the organization's name is something unforgivable.

Meanwhile, thousands of miles away from the country's capital. Enrique known by his nickname Erick, currently stays at Toledo. He is with his friends and colleagues from his former work. He was working as a business associate in a well known international company. It is when his potential was discovered that his father Sergio recruited him to Hydra.

Enrique was on his way home from dinner. Two figures met up with him in a road and asks for his time to talk. The two seems to be familiar with him and Enrique along with his companions went with them.

"I hear you went to Peking, Qina for an audience with the Politburo." Asks one of the men in front of Enrique.

"It was just a diversion, I know those people are not interested to waste time with me." Enrique said while walking.

"Romano, are you sure he is the guy?" The man beside the person who talked to Enrique asked him.

"Yes, he is... He is the one who will meet with father!" Romano replied to his companion beside him.

The five entered the car that was parked beside the building and departed to their destination. While inside the car, Romano started a talk with Enrique who was in the middle of his companions at the back.

"I am sure you are not used to this weather." Romano said to Enrique at the back.

"It's not that humid and a bit cold. I like the cold weather better." Enrique replied.

"Does not look like it. How are you liking the place by the way?" Romano asked as if Enrique was new to the place.

"I have been here for at least a hundred times since. I worked here as a business associate from a well known company. It is until I got mixed up with some shady organization that wants a new world order." Enrique narrated while looking on the floor,

"That seems to be tough." Romano laughed with his companion in the front seat.

Enrique remembers his joining years ago after he spoke,"Once you take out a tendril, another will take its place."

"What is it's purpose?"

"Protection, young one, soon you'll understand!"

He remembers the words of his old innocent self and his father, Sergio Sebastian discussing about matters concerning the organization. His father is encouraging the young Enrique to join the organization since he was a child. To him, he has the potential to lead people and guide the world itself in secret.

While Enrique was lost in thoughts, his attention was called by his companion beside of him. They have already arrived and their hosts are already waiting. Enrique's companions were told to wait outside of the building by the guards, huge men who stopped them. Enrique went alone to meet this certain "Father" he wishes to see.
