Chapter 14: Anaconda!!!

Lancelot stood rooted to the spot, staring at the humongous snake that was speeding towards him.

He didn't have a look of fear nor was he calm, his creation of the tiny worms had made him lose a huge amount of his soul energy, he felt weak to the bones and he didn't have enough time to regain his strength.

Cherry looked to his brother, panic evident in her voice as she screamed,

"Brother get out of the way' ,

She started rushing towards his direction in a bid to rescue him.

Lancelot saw this, and an overwhelming feeling of wanting to defend her washed over him.

Lancelot went down on the ground and closed his eye as he tried to connect with the forest animals.

The ground started to tremble and the gentle breeze blowing suddenly became fierce, making even the anaconda struggle with its movements.

The anaconda beast came close to hitting

At exactly that moment, Dice rushed in at the nick of time and pulled Cherry backward, allowing the giant snake beast to brush past them in such proximity, that they could perceive the stench of death from the beast as it moved.

Lancelot still knelt, connecting to the ground, calling on the very power of the beast nation to course through his bones.

His eyes opened and his iris went completely red, his hands started to burn with a flame whose embers grew brighter every passing moment.

Every part of Lancelot's body came to life.

He stood up like a robot and stretched forth his hands, almost immediately a loud thunderous voice rang out,

"Stoooop, Descendant of Khumal, stay your hands, I mean you no harm".

Everyone was shocked, including Kendra, not just because of the amount of power Lancelot had brought to life within him but also because the owner of the voice that spoke was the anaconda that had put them at a disadvantage.

Lancelot was still in his raging mental state but he didn't attack.

He watched the Anaconda's every move, as it halted its assault and coiled its huge body, and stood on its coiled body.

"l am the protector of the power hook, the

Scorpion beast you killed was one of the many protectors, we knew one day that a descendant of Khumal would return to get this hook because it was not meant for the beast nation but the fire nation. However, the greed of the god of the beast nation, made him steal the hook for himself."

'In the dying moments of the fire nation god, he cursed that no beast nation man would be able to handle the power of the power hook, and as such, every single one of the beast nation men who held the hook would eventually end up dead from the extreme rush of power. "

"Unable to give it up, the beast nation god, created protectors to guide the hook and prevent it from ending up in the hands of the fire nation, he also impacted the spirit of the dead beast men into it."

"We were assigned to protect the hook from any potential possessors, but in coming in contact with you, I knew you were the descendant of Khumal 'the fire nation legend' blessed by the god of the fire nation to carry the ability of the god fire, the only element capable of destroying everything in existence, please pardon me for attacking, I just wanted to be sure."

Lancelot kept a straight face, not showing any emotion and likewise, he couldn't read the expression of the huge anaconda snake beast before him.

The snake went on the ground and bowed as it raised its head and lowered it, arching its neck like a swan and eyeing Lancelot,

"Your wish is my command"

The humongous snake spoke out, stunning Kendra once more.

Lancelot allowed his mind to be calm, his eyes went back to normalcy, he then beckoned on the snake to lower itself, he then climbed onto its neck and adjusted his body.

The Anaconda beast snake knew immediately what Lancelot wanted and lifted him towards the place where the power hook was hung.

Lancelot touched the hook and the hook immediately flashed and disappeared into his arms.

His body then showed a light that was whirling within him, his element started to rise again and suddenly all around him started to emit fire, his eyes shone brightly as he started to burn.

The Anaconda couldn't bear the heat and had to retract its head and particularly its neck from

Lancelot who was floating in the air.

Lancelot started to shine like the sun and radiate an almost blinding light.

His element control level rose to four for the fire element. Kendra could sense its rise, likewise

Dice as they both stared at Lancelot with fear.

Cherry was still in the same position where Dice had saved her.

The arms and the positioning of Dice's arms in saving her were still at both the upper part of her shoulders and upper arms.

Either because of the shock of her near-death experience or because of Dice that had just saved her, she stood right there, allowing Dice to hold her.

It became awkward for the two as Dice didn't know if he should remove his hand or leave it

as it is.

"Thank you"

Cherry finally said, as she turned to face Dice.

Kendra moved towards Lancelot who continued to blazing like the sun.

A while later, it calmed and Lancelot fell unconscious from extreme exhaustion.

The Anaconda lowered its head as a show of respect to Kendra,

"You've grown quite a lot"

Kendra spoke to the beast, as she recovered from her initial shock and recollected her memories of the huge beast snake,

"Can you show us a way out of here, the air nation soldiers might have sent reinforcement, and with Lancelot down, I might not be able to protect everyone."

The snake nodded and lowered its head to allow everyone to climb on.

Kendra pulled together moisture in the atmosphere and combined it to form a stream of water that gained strength to carry Lancelot's unconscious body and place it in front of her.

She then used water to circulate his body to improve his health as he slept soundly.

The snake sped off into the air and slithered out with such terrifying speed, while everyone hung on for their dear life.
