Day 3 - The First Fun Practice in A Long Time 1/25/23

Today we started off with stretching in the weight room with some normal stretches and we did some squat jumps. Nothing too interesting. After we went to get ready for warm up and Charlie, Luke, and I got in 1 second before we were supposed to get in. We did a 600.

After we did a speed set 4x (25 15m fast on :35? i think 25 good finishes on :35 and 50 good turns on 1:00) then we moved on to our main ish set. It was 4x100 free as fast as you can go on 1:20 then 4x75 50 swim 25 kick easy on 1:30 as like a cool down for those 100s. Then we did 4x75 no free fast on 1:40 then we did the 4x75s easy again. Then FINALLY we convinced coach andrew to do... RELAYSSSSSSSSSSSS.

So, we did six 200 relays with 4 people in each team with 4 teams doing reverse IM order. So basically, one relay for each stroke and we did freestyle again after. The relays were fun, but like coach should've put Charlie, Ramika, Jerry, and I in the same team and we would've dominated, buit sadly he didn't. But that doesn't matter because we did relays for like the first time in forever. By forever I mean like forever, if you get what I'm saying. They were really fun though, so it doesn't matter. Finally, we got done with the last freestyle relay and we did backwards freestyle relay? It was definitely interesting. I never done them before and it was so funny to watch everyone else doing it. It was definitely a fun experience and my friends got it on camera too! After we did the 4x75s easy and we were done. Definitely one of the best practices in a long time. Thanks coach andrew!
