SWITCH- CHAPTER 7
Carl is sitting on the floor playing games on his tablet, he hears a noise coming from the kitchen and gets up to see what it is. He hides himself behind the kitchen island and observes himself going through the fridge.
"Hi, I have snacks if you're hungry" he says to the little boy, while still hiding behind the island. The boy closes the fridge and walks up to him, "aren't you scared?" he says to Carl while touching his face.
Carl shakes his head, grabs the boys' hand and leads him to his bedroom. He then opens the last drawer of his dresser and takes out two snacks. "I save all the snacks that my mom give me, so I can eat them later", he says while handing one to the little boy.
"You do know that I'm you, right?" the boy says while holding his snack, Carl nods his head and jumps on the bed. "Yeah, I know why won't you smile at me in the mirror?" he asks as he takes a pillow and gives it to him to lay down.
"I don't have a lot of emotions as you do, it's complicated you know" he says while opening his snack but quickly closes it back. "Oh I understand, in case you don't already know my name, I'm Carl, what's yours?" Carl smiles at him awaiting an answer.
He thinks for a moment before answering" uhh, I don't really have a name, it's not significant where I come from", he lays down and looks at the ceiling. Carl lies beside him, "that's okay, we can give you a name now", the boy sits up and stares at him, "is that how it works?". Carl smiles at him and pulls him back to lay down, "yes it's that easy, I always wanted a brother, if I name you, will you be my brother?". The boy quickly nods his head anticipating his first name, "umm, how about….Dave", the boy claps and immediately agrees.

Ms. Gobin tugs at the metal ring on her ankle trying to get it off, she stares at the wall then back at the metal ring. Suddenly getting an idea she crawls up to the wall and knocks on it, a hollow sound echos throughout the room, a wide smile plasters across her face as she lifts both chains from the floor.
With all her strength, she begins pulling at the chains trying to get them out of the wall, a tiny crack appears on the wall and a deep motivation takes over her. As she continually pulls at the chains it finally comes bolting out of the wall, she falls to the floor with exhaustion, breathing heavily.
With the rings still around her feet, she attempts to walk, but quickly sits back down because of how weak her body feels from not eating. She decides to creep her way outside, firstly looking for something to eat then for the keys to unlock the metal rings.

Tia and Lana are in the living room area painting together, "pumpkin, yesterday mommy saw you talking to yourself or was it your dolls?" tia asks her politely as she continues painting. Lana stops and looks at her, deciding if to tell her the truth or not.
"Daddy says not to tell anyone about it" she quickly gets up to get more paint, avoiding any more questions about it. Tia gently grabs her top and turns her around, "Lana I'm not just anyone, I'm your mother". Lana hesitates to respond and looks around the house, searching for her father.
"Promise me you won't tell dad that I told you" she says, putting up her pinky finger for the promise. Tia locks her finger with lanas' and reassures her that the promise will be kept, "I have a friend named Layna that no one sees, she's not scary at all, I promise"
Tia tries to keep her facial reactions to a minimum as she processes lanas' words, "that's ok sweetie, I'd like to meet her if that's ok with you" she says as she goes back to painting. A tiny smile creeps onto lanas' as she sits back down beside tia to paint.
Leaning on the wall behind them is Dave who was listening to the entire conversation, he walks back out the door and calls tias' phone. "My dear, when you get some time, please meet me at the cabin."

Izzie is walking towards carls' house, she stops and looks across at ms.gobins' house and notices that her front door is wide open. Curious to know who's inside, she attempts walking over to her house but stops when the door slams shut.
She takes her keys out and goes back to carls' front door, inside the house has an erie feeling to it. She notices that he isn't home and goes straight to the bedroom, pulling out all the draws of the dresser, she begins throwing everything out of them.
"Where is it?" she shouts in frustration, swinging the wardrobe doors open she ravishes through the clothes seeking the book that Aaron gave to carl. She accepts defeat and flops unto the bed, while racking her brain of where Carl would put the book a hand hovers over her eyes and within seconds she goes unconscious.
Nyola drags her lifeless body from the bed to the floor, she calls Aaron to help her carry izzie to the car. "We can't take her where he knows to find her" he says as he lifts Izzies' feet off the floor, they both carefully guide her body to the back door.
As they open the door, layna is standing in front of them furious, with Carl behind her. She was about to grab Aaron, but Carl held her back, "Just leave" he says while tightly gripping laynas' arms. Both Aaron and nyola rest Izzie down and make their way through the front door.
"Why did you let them go so easily?!!" layna says while trying to wake Izzie up, she motions for Carl to close the door with her hands and quickly enters izzies' body.

Aaron drives in the direction of carls' mothers' house, he slows down and gets out the car taking his briefcase along with him. He goes straight to the back where the river is and summons Dave out of the water, with the sentence at the back of the book, which he gave Carl.
Dave is walking towards him from the river, "what do you want?!" he says as he stops midway. He takes his phone out and shows him the recording of layna and carl at the door, daves' eyes darken with rage, "come with me" he pulls Aaron by his shirt, dragging him to the car.
"I'm not as strong outside of him, so do exactly as I say" Dave says as he speeds down the street determined to reach carls' house in time. "I don't think that's a good idea, it's two against one" Aaron softly says, trying not to upset him further. Dave ignores him and slows the car down in the middle of nowhere. "It's either going to be two against two or three against one, you choose" he stares intensely at Aaron who is lost for words.

Lana is in the kitchen with Tia's' phone, she opens the chat with izzie and begins to type. *meet me at the cabin, it's important*, she sends it, deletes the message and puts the phone back where it was.
She then goes to her room and tries to summon layna, but it doesn't work, she goes to lock her door and then back on her bed. "Layna romance me, layna romance me" it still does not work, she gets frustrated and throws everything off her night stand.
Tia hears the noise and goes rushing to her room, she tries opening the door, but it's locked. "Lana!" she shouts while vigorously knocking on the door, Lana opens the door in a hurry, closing it slowly behind her trying to hide the mess she made.
"What were you doing? Are you hurt?" tia touches her face and spins her around, quickly scanning her body. "I'm fine mom, I just fell sorry for making you worried", she takes her mothers' hand and walks her to the living room. "I need your help mom" she says softly, almost whisper like.

Ms. Gobin is at the cabin dragging a metal cage to the room that she was in, with a long rope in hand she rests it on the floor. Rushing to the kitchen, she pulls out the draw and takes all the knives in it.
She goes back into the room and throws them on the floor, the door opens and she panics. Quietly, she presses on the wall and opens the secret door to the backyard. "Izzie?" Tia walks in and begins looking around for her, opening the bedroom door she gasps as she sees the cage in the corner of the room. She was about to turn around but gets pushed by Ms. Gobin into the room.
