Chapter 133 Iwa vs Hokage

Land of Fire.

Tanzaku Town.

At the center of the burning town was a sudden silence as the eyes of Onoki hovering above, Roshi and Ran on the ground were fixed on the silver haired man, the man donning a black battle gear with a sword fixed on his back.

"Our target's may have escaped but if we manage to take down the hokage, wouldn't it be an even better outcome than we had hoped?"

Onoki slowly flew down and arrived next to Roshi and Ran as the purple haired girl looking at Kazuki who moving his muscles to warm up couldn't help but speak out her inner thoughts, a smile on her beautiful face.

Given an option to kill the fourth hokage or sannin Iwagakure would definitely chose to former all day long.

At her words Onoki showing a frustrated look shook his head and spoke up next moment.

"Together the three of us can surely kill any kage but he is an exception, he can escape using the flying raijin, a space time ninjutsu whenever he feels like so there's no point in expanding our chakra only for him to escape at the end"

Explained Onoki the reason behind why he didn't want to fight despite outnumbering the hokage.

 "We should hurry back as Kitsuchi alone might not be able to hold off konoha army for long"

Roshi also showed no intent to fight Kazuki and was thinking more about the iwa army battling konoha right now with only one strong commander present.

Thud!

The three deciding to retreat turned around and but before they could even take another step further, a kunai drilled into the ground before them halting their movements.

"Did you really consider land of fire as your backyard? coming and leaving as you like"

The trio turned around to gaze at Kazuki who with an amused look on his face put some facts that he found interesting before them, the looks on their face wavering at his words.

"Do you really think you can stop us if we want to leave?" Questioned Onoki in a slightly haughty tone though Kazuki not saying anything in response and just smiling.

GLIN!!

A red light suddenly shot skywards from the corners of the town and converged right above the center, the eyes of the three nearly bulging out from shock.

"DAMN!! A BARRIER JUTSU?"

The town was enclosed by a red barrier making it impossible for anyone to escape anymore, Onoki caught by surprise finally coming back to his senses and cursing in anger.

"You can go ahead and try to break it, I don't mind waiting for a while more"

At this moment the teasing voice of Kazuki fell in the ears of the three who were frustrated to core at the appearance of barrier.

"HA"

At his provoking words Onoki taking a deep breath calmed himself down and gazing at the barrier spoke up.

"Breaking a barrier from inside is tough work and it would cost us more chakra than we might consume while fighting him, I sense chakra signatures same as his at the corners of the town so it's most likely his shadow clones maintaining the barrier"

"We'll fight with the aim of consuming his chakra to the point where he can't sustain the barrier anymore and even better if we force him to leave, don't transform into a tailed beast during the battle as that would make you an easier target for him to mark with flying raijin formula."

"Hn!"

Knowing they had no option other than to battle Onoki who had tones of fighting experience came up with an effective battle plan against someone like Kazuki, both nodding at his words.

Outside the burning town enclosed with a red barrier suddenly appeared out of the ground a black and white figure, their eyes immediately locking on the clone of kazuki maintaining the hand sign for the barrier with his eyes closed.

"So he finally left the village… tell them to quickly get to work… don't let this hard earned opportunity go to a waste"

Said Black Zetsu to White Zetsu while eyeing the shadow clone of Kazuki, his yellow eyes and mouth curving into a devious smile.

The flames began to die down a little as on the scorched street Kazuki stood poised, his eyes locked on his opponents at some distance from him. The air crackled with palpable tension of impending combat.

Swish!

And then it happened.

Without warning, Ōnoki initiated the conflict, levitating slightly off the ground as he gathered a swirling mass of chakra in his palms

"Particle Style! Atomic Dismantling Jutsu!" he announced, unleashing a stream of destructive energy aimed directly at Kazuki.

BOOM!!

Reacting with swift precision, Kazuki vaulted to the side, executing a series of acrobatic flips to evade the attack. The ground where he had stood moments earlier was obliterated, leaving a gaping hole that emitted a faint, eerie glow from the residual chakra.

"Lava Style Chakra Mode!"

Not to be left out of the fight, Roshi, channeling the power of the Four Tails, began his transformation. His body expanded, muscles bulging as the lava-like chakra coated his skin.

"Lava Style! Melting Apparition Jutsu!" Roshi bellowed, spewing a stream of molten rock towards Kazuki.

CLAP!!

"Water Style! Water Wall Jutsu!" Kazuki countered swiftly, clapping his hands together to summon a barrier

"Fizz!!"

Swish!

A towering wall of water rose from the ground, intercepting the lava and sending up clouds of steam. Through the mist, Kazuki moved like a shadow, his movements barely perceptible. On the other flank, Ran charged, her form wreathed in steam as the chakra of the Five Tails surged within her.

 "Steam Style! Scalding Armored Fist!" she roared, her fists encased in a boiling shroud, aiming a crushing blow towards Kazuki.

SWISH!!

Dodging to the left, Kazuki closed the distance between him and Ran, their movements a blur of speed and power. Kazuki launched a series of rapid strikes.

"Leaf Whirlwind!" He called out, his legs sweeping in powerful arcs, aimed at knocking Ran off balance.

Ran stumbled backward, steam hissing around her as she regained her footing. Meanwhile, Ōnoki, not deterred by his initial miss, prepared another devastating technique.

 "Particle Style! Microscopic Annihilation Jutsu!"

A finer, more concentrated beam of destructive energy shot forth, slicing towards Kazuki with unerring precision but this time Kazuki met the attack head-on.

Thud!!

BOOM!!!

"Earth Style! Mud Wall!" He shouted, erecting a barrier of dense earth that got obliterated the moment it came in contact with the beam but gave him enough time to locate the other two, a smile on his face at the same time seemingly really enjoying the battle.

SWOOSH!!

Roshi, recovering from his earlier clash with Kazuki's water wall, now fully embraced the Four Tails' chakra. The transformation completed, he launched into a more aggressive attack.

"Zhuu!!"

Lava Style! Pyroclastic Surge!!!!" He thundered, unleashing a wave of lava that flowed like a river of fire across the battlefield. Kazuki responded with a mixture of agility and tactical acumen.

Swish!!

"Wind Style! Gale Palm!"

He executed, sending a powerful blast of wind that cooled and solidified the lava, creating a temporary barricade that he used as cover. Behind the barrier, Kazuki quickly formed hand seals, his chakra molding into a new form.

"Lightning Style! Thunder Binding!!!"

He shouted, launching numerous chains of lightning from his palm towards his opponents, aiming to immobilize them temporarily.

RUMBLE!!

"Aghh!!"

The chains crackled across the battlefield, seeking their targets. Ōnoki managed to evade with a swift rise into the air, while Roshi used his lava armor to dissipate the electrical energy.

Ran, however, was caught by the chains, the electricity coursing through her and nearly making her hair stand up like sharp spikes, her groans spreading around and her eyes nearly going white.

With Ran momentarily incapacitated, Kazuki didn't rush over to finish her off quickly as the angry gazes of Onoki and Roshi made him give up the idea, showing an alert look.
