Hey guys just some announcement before the chapter, to be honest, this book is stressing me out, and also school, and it's not like I don't like this book but the narration is too complex for this book and I'm having a hard time narrating it in the best way, so I decided to halt this book after the middle school tournament arc, and then start posting the Solo Leveling Fanfic.

I'm not dropping okay? but just halting it up, I hope you guys understand, anyway, the book may last up to 35 to 40 chapters before I halt it up, then after Solo Leveling fanfic, I will continue posting this or not depends on your vote guys or I might just rewrite this.

The players of Teiko were surprised to see Tanaka entering the court, and with Hiruma at that, they had expected that Hiruma and Tanaka would play somewhere in the game and they predicted it but not in the first minute of the first quarter.

And looking at their roster, they immediately knew that the Ousai will be going for the points, not just some points, but tons of points, this made the Teiko Team feel pressured, they were very clueless about the synergy of Hiruma and Tanaka.

What they have to look out for too was their villainous play, know that the original creator of this playstyle was Tanaka, and was then passed unto Hiruma, and one Hiruma was already problematic for them since only one player could only defend Hiruma which was Aomine who could chase him up in terms of speed.

They already had a plan for that, but for Tanaka, there was no plan against him, the only thing they could do was place a two-man defense on him, their coach also agreed with this.

The match started and it was time for tip-off, Murasakibara and Akagi stood in the middle of the court facing each other off, Murasakibara who was always bored of everything had a serious expression on his face.

He was taking this match seriously, he seemed to not care about anything, but Murasakibara like challenges and snacks, and he didn't like to lose.

The referee walked in the middle and looked at the two players and nodded.

*Swooosh!

The referee threw the ball into the air and all of the players stared at the ball, the two centers of the opposite team immediately jumped for the tip-off, and they both reached their peak and tipped for the ball.

*Boom!

Both reached the ball at the same time and they both struggled for the tip-off, both giving their full strength.

"Haaaa!

"Raaaa!

The two centers shouted as they tried to take the ball from each other.

*Pang!

With their intense battle on the tip-off, the ball flew into the air once again, the players below immediately scattered around to jump for the ball but a figure was already on the ball as it started to fall.

Aomine who jumped for the ball was already in mid-air when others were still reacting, just as he was about to catch the ball, a hand suddenly snatched it like a snake, giving Aomine no chance to react.

*Fwop!

Hiruma laughed as he got the ball, he didn't dribble forward and just passed it forward without even looking where his teammates are, Aomine who just landed on the ground immediately chased after the ball at a very fast speed.

As the ball traveled mid-air, the Teiko players noticed a figure who dashed the same speed as Aomine, Aomine was surprised at first but he immediately focused on the game, they both reached the ball at the same time, and reached out their hands.

*Swooosh!

Aomine had a longer wing spin so he was sure he will get the ball, but then he noticed Asahi was not extending his hand towards the ball, he just kept running, just as Aomine was about to reach the ball, a hand suddenly took it from his grasp, Aomine looked at Tanaka in shock, 'How!?' Aomine was very confused, he never noticed Tanaka's presence at all.

Tanaka gave Aomine a wink then passed the ball towards Asahi who was already running towards the rim, Asahi caught the ball and made an easy lay-up giving them the first score.

The crowds cheered as the start of the match was already intense, many things just happened in a few seconds that they could not say anything but just shout and cheer loudly with all their might.

The game continued and the possession was in the hands of Teiko, Akashi dribbled forward scanning the whole court, he could perceive everyone's movements, his guard was Tanaka who was staring at him with a wide smile on his face, but Akashi noticed something.

"So you are in zone huh?" Akashi said as he saw the trail of lightning flicker in Tanaka's eyes.

"Is it that surprising?" Tanaka asked with an amused face, he then pointed behind him.

Akashi was curious about where Tanaka was pointing and he was immediately shocked by what he saw, Asahi has entered the zone! and he was more focused than the last time, it was like a beast has been awakened.

Akashi wanted to pass at Aomine earlier but seeing Asahi was in that state, he didn't want to risk it, 2 players are in the zone! this is much scarier than a team full of monsters like them, Akashi then passed the ball to Nijimura who called for a pass.

But just as the ball traveled through the air, a figure dashed towards the ball and caught it mid-air, Akagi roared as he caught the ball, he then passed the ball towards Tanaka who was already running forward.

Akashi moved fast and immediately intercepted Tanaka but Tanaka did a crossover behind the backspin, to break his ankle and get past Akashi, Tanaka was close to the rim but he didn't shoot, instead, he jumped from the paint then juggled the ball in his hand to between his legs and threw it towards the board.

The ball bounced from the board and in the air, Hiruma caught the ball and dunked it to the ring with style!

*Boom!

"Ya-Ha!" Hiruma yelled then a trail of yellow lightning came out from his eyes.
