(Part 2)

Hearing the voice, the faces of the fourteen boys blackened, accepting their defeat they stood silent. Kenzo amongst them, turning around gritted his teeth suddenly smacking the commando phone on the nearby tree trunk.

"OH MY GOD!! My commando!!" shrieked Cassiel running behind it.

"The hell commando this is!!" Kenzo blurted annoyed.

"And… right, here when I thought someone picked it up." Helios sighed as Poseidon patted his back.

"Such a bummer…" Feng whispered disappointed.

Cassiel picking up his phone cried fountains of tears. "Oh my commando… he was just smacked straight!"

"Is he alright? Your commando?" Ezekiel and Heber sympathized as Adam patted his head.

"Don't worry Cassy, Cassy, just smack it right back on that fake king's head. And, its balance would be all recharged once again." he advised as Azazel and Ryan looked at each other in disbelief. "You are just saying it to get revenge…" they whispered.

"This is seriously hell…" Gabriel groaned.

Azazel looking inside his bag called out, "Your highness, I also have a phone!" The boys eyeing him flickered once more with hope.

"Hun? Since, when did you had a phone?" Kenzo took it away.

"Hehe, I let it slip off the base's check! I am a genius aren't I?" Azazel showed a victory sign. Kenzo twitched his brow suddenly grasping his ear. "Wah!! It hurt's captain!! My ear! My ear!!" Azazel shrieked.

"No wonder, I heard stupid birds chirping from the bed above, who knew you'd be playing with your phone hun, you genius rascal! Destroying my sleep!" he pulled it cross.

"But I muted the voice!!" Azazel replied.

"So? Did you think I was deaf all along hun?" Kenzo asked back cross.

"Alright, alright just leave him or else you might pull his ear off. Try the number out before hitting him." Xavier called him down.

Kenzo leaving Azazel's ear looked at the phone. "Let's pray it works now." whispered Seraph.

"Tch, too bad it's not a commando anymore." Adam said lightly disappointed. "Not everything is a commando…" replied Ryan.

The boys surrounded each other in a circle once more. Kenzo once again dialing the number stood silent. However, before even a bell could be heard a voice came forward, "SIM Unavailable, SIM Inactivated. Kindly insert SIM for future calls…"

After a moment of deep silence where the woman on the phone only spoke, Helios turned around crouching on his knees, pushing his face in between his legs. Xavier grabbing his forehead shook it in disbelief as Gabriel clicked his tongue annoyed. The other middle schoolers eyeing the phone in Kenzo's hand gulped.

"It might just suffer the same fate as commando…" whispered Adam in Heber's and Ryan ear.

"Seriously, just forget it. That commando must be crying somewhere." Heber smacked his own forehead. Kenzo glaring deathly at the phone turned around as Azazel bit his nails. "No, no, no, no, my games…" he quivered restless.

"I just knew it! You just played games in it Azazel! More than a good reason for me to crack it now!!" growled Kenzo as he was about to smack Azazel's phone on the tree however, Cassiel interrupted, "STOP!!! Stop! Stop! Stop! Don't throw it just yet! Use my SIM instead. See if it works."

Helios glancing stood up, "I don't think I have any more hopes left…" "Then let's pray for something good instead." Seraph encouraged patting his back. Ezekiel nodded at Poseidon as Azazel exhaled a breath of relief. "How lucky hun." Ryan remarked.

Heber smiling stood beside Azazel patting his back. "Say, how did you become so clever to even hide a phone all this time? No wonder you didn't study at all." he ruffled his hairs as Azazel giggled.

Cassiel inserting the SIM handed Azazel's phone over to Kenzo "You try it now, my hands are tired of dialing the number again and again." Kenzo passed the phone frustrated. Xavier nodded.

Dialing the number which Kenzo spoke, the middle schoolers surrounded them. Pressing the button, they waited for the results.

"Oh god! For the love of us, please let this second commando work!!" prayed Adam in his weird way. Ryan, Ezekiel, Seraph, Feng along with Heber and Azazel smacked their foreheads in disbelief.

"Commando, seriously. This boy has walked down the soldier's path…" they thought together. Soon the call began to ring.

"It's work…!" said Poseidon as Gabriel grabbed his mouth from behind. "Don't say it! It will die the moment you do." he warned.

Poseidon nodded realizing. Xavier stared at the phone hopefully alongside Kenzo and Helios. "Oh god…" whispered Xavier. Suddenly, someone picked up the phone, "Hello…?" Hearing the voice, the boys perked up in joy. "Talk to him…" whispered Xavier handing the phone over to Kenzo however, the moment he grabbed it.

Another voice came, "Battery low, Phone powering off. Kindly recharge…" Revealing a huge round circle in between the screen and instantly turning black along with the faces of the fourteen boys who hoped for a miracle.

None daring to utter another word, stared at the black screen with their expressions dead. Kenzo unable to take the phone from Xavier who stared at the ground in disbelief, Helios walking forward grabbed the phone from Xavier's hand whispering, "Let me…" Suddenly throwing the phone on the ground, he kept his feet over crushing it.

"Wah!!!" Shrieked Azazel, soul leaving his body.

Helios picking his bag up, walked away. "Come on, everyone." he called. Kenzo smirked following. "Good boy, you didn't let this king get his hand dirty." he patted his shoulder.

"It's nothing I was just quiet PISSED!" Helias masked a vexed gleam.

"My phone~" Azazel cried picking it up. "How sad, the first one is left at the base and the other one cracked." sympathized Heber ruffling his hairs.

"Don't worry, Aza, Aza. Just smack it on that monkey king's head and it might just recover." Adam advised the same way he did to Cassiel before.

Xavier picking his bag patted Ryan's head following Kenzo and Gabriel. "Don't tell me we are going to walk back now, Captain?" Ezekiel glanced at the scorching sun.

"Seems like it, Ezekiel." replied Seraph following behind Azazel.

"No way! I might just sleep on the road!!" Ezekiel shrieked.

Feng tugging his arm on his shoulder pulled him forward alongside Cassiel. "Come on, I'll help you, alright?" he smiled. The boys coming out of the street, stood on the deserted highway.

Turning around one last time, they gazed at the base's sight. "Farewell…" Xavier whispered.

"To think Alan just said to take us out to face the world before, feels like a dream." Poseidon recalled.

Gabriel rolling his eyes walked forward, "That damn rascal, just leave him be. He might just be like his own brother. A façade over façade." "But, he did say that to me as well." Azazel remembered. "And me, too" endorsed Cassiel. "Don't tell me he would lie to all of us?" Heber blinked his eyes.

Kenzo eyeing Xavier and Seraph sighed turning around, "Forget it let the past be in the past. We aren't kids that we need someone to take us out to face the world. Else then that, why not go out there and explore everything ourselves?"

The boys nodded at each other. "I bet it would be twice as fun then it is right now." Xavier concurred gleaming. Helios tracing Cassiel inquired, "Cassiel, how far is the nearest coach stop approximately?"

Cassiel looking inside his diary spoke up, "Gold tour coach stop, leading to the powerhouse of the city straight at Gabriel's academy. It's probably up to 7 till 8 kilometers away from our current destination."

As if hearing a death toll. The middle schoolers excluding Helios, Kenzo, Cassiel and Gabriel stood thunderstruck.

"7 to 8…? Are we climbing the hilltop again?!" asked Seraph as Xavier too stood surprised.

"And, under such heat…" Poseidon added worried.

The rest of them sat in the middle of the highway with souls leaving their bodies. "Come on, we have climbed the hill back and forth for more than a whole month. How come are you all dying about hearing 7 till 8 kilometers?" Helios stood before them reminding.

"But captain, we just played before and didn't even rested." Ezekiel stated tired.

"I'm hungry~" cried Adam distressed as well.

Seraph, Xavier and Kenzo eyeing each other walked forward. "Come on, get up. Even this king is walking so how could you back down already?" Kenzo gave his hand to Adam. Xavier pulled Ezekiel up as Helios stood beside Azazel patting his head. The fourteen of them bracing each other, set out forward walking along the long highway.
