Chapter 5: The Heart Of Earth

Autumn and Spring get back to the motel.

Spring was still holding the necklace and had not put it on yet. She was waiting for the right moment, and before she could even put the necklace on. She needed to give Streak a peace of her mind.

"Streak! Get out here right now!" Spring shouted as Streak comes from the bathroom.

"Um...yes?" Streak said with a confused face.

"Oh stop the act! You killed my parents! You made that car crash happen!" Spring said in full anger.

"Wow wow wow...Spring how do you even know she did it?" Autumn asked getting between Streak and Spring. .

"She did it! I heard her say it in her own words!" Spring shouted.

"What are you talking about Spring?" Streak said in confusion.

"Spring, just relax." Jacob said softly.

The room went quiet. Spring took deep breaths to calm herself. Than all anyone could hear was a simple laugh.

Streak walked up to Spring, while pushing Autumn to the side, slow clapping. "Good job Spring. You finally caught me. It's about time. Playing the good guy was kind of tiring for me."

Autumn was shocked "She was telling the true..." She said from under her breath.

"Yes she was. Kingdom King will be happy to know that you two have found each other and that Spring is almost awake." Streak said smiling.

"We will stop him!" Autumn said in a serious tone.

"Oh Autumn, dear Autumn. You can't stop him, and he has you right where he wants you. Your just another piece on his chess board, and the game has just began." Streak said with an evil smile.

Spring walked up to Streak and punched her in the face knocking her out.

Autumn was once again shocked "So your just going to keep hitting people aren't you."

"Your going to blame me for hitting someone who was clearly a spy to began with? You thought I was lying about Streak but really I was the once one making sense around here. So don't you question me." Spring said with anger in her eyes.

"Okay.... I'm sorry. I understand. But your kinda starting to act like I was before you brought me back to my senses." Autumn said walking slowly to Spring.

"How could I not! I just found the killer of my parents and now all I want to do is to make her suffer for what she's done!" Spring shouted while tears fell from her face.

"I know, I get it Spring. But Kingdom King is the one who hired her to do it. Kingdom King messed with me to, and I want him to pay. But we need to do this the right way if we want stop him. And making her suffer is not the way." Autumn said while tying up Streak than hugging Spring.

"Now put on your necklace Spring, for me." Autumn says looking into her eyes.

"Okay." She said putting on the necklace.

Spring felt and saw the images within her of the mountains and grass and animals. She felt the memories of her past rushing back to her. She felt the power within herself and within her own body, and as she opened her eyes, she saw that her hands had started to glow. She had no idea why her hands were glowing in the strange similar color as her necklace. But she knew that was suppose to happen.

After a good 3 minutes her hands had stopped glowing and she had looked at Autumn with a smile "Autumn, I missed you so much." She said hugging her.

Autumn smiled as she hugged her back. But as they let go, she had a sad look on her face.

"Autumn what's wrong?" Spring asked.

"I need to tell you something, something about our father that none of us had ever known." She said sitting down on the bed.

"What is it?" Spring asked sitting next to her.

"Our father killed mom before our planet, Ciler, what destroyed." She said with sad eyes.

"And how do you know this information?" Spring asked wondering how it could be true.

"Back where I was living, after I had gotten my powers and memories back, I met this secret group known as the Woods Men. They told me some parts of our fathers past. Said that our father had started the war that had ended our planet. The war that killed our mother." She said with a sad tone.

Spring didn't want to believe what her had heard. But she knew it was the truth. "Autumn, I know you are angry at our father, and it's okay to be. Especially because of what you had just said. But we need to focus. We have a killer to interrogate. So we can't be showing our weaknesses." Spring said.

"Your right." Jacob said coming out of nowhere. "We need to stay smart and not show any signs of fear."

Autumn and Spring both look at Jacob in shock and wonder of how long he was standing there.

"But Jacob...Spring, I get my powers from my emotions. If I try to hold it in...well...just know that you won't like it." Autumn said showing her fear.

"It's okay Autumn. You don't have to talk to her. I'll talk to her, Jacob I'll call you in if I need some help." Spring said looking at Jacob.

Jacob nodded, than Autumn and Jacob both walked out the room and closed the door.

Streak had finally woken up from her small nap a few minutes later.

Realizing the pain she felt on her face. "Did you hit?!" She asked shouting.

Spring smiled. "Yes, I did. And if Autumn wasn't here I would have most likely killed you."

"Now your going to do something for me." Spring said standing up from the bed to face Streak.

"Well I can't exactly do anything. I'm tied up, remember." Streak said seriously.

"Thank you captain obvious. But maybe if you let me finish you'll know what I'm asking of you." Spring said with a serious tone.

"Okay fine, continue." She said rolling her eyes.

"So as I was saying, I need you to do something for me. I need you to tell me everything you know about Kingdom King, cause apparently you know a lot about him." She said grabbing a chair and than sitting in it while still facing Streak.

"And if I don't?" She asked.

"Well you see, Autumn takes a little time learning her powers and I'm sure she needed weeks of practice. But me, I'm a fast learner. It would sure be very fun to practice them on something...or...someone." She said staring into Streaks eyes.

"Oh you wouldn't." She said testing Spring.

"Try me. I'm sure my father wouldn't mind me having some target practice. Unless you plan on talking anytime soon." Spring said.

"Okay, okay. I'll talk." Streak said.

Spring's smile got bigger. "Good, and you play any games on me, your dead. Got it?"

"Yes, I got it." She said rolling her eyes once more.

"So." Spring said waiting.

Streak signed. "Your father found me, homeless and in the streets alone."

"Why were you in the streets homeless?" Spring asked.

"Well I never knew my parents. So I had to survive on my own for years. But like I said, your father found me. Trained me and told me everything he knew about you the other three Autumn, Winter, and Summer. Told me you four were the key." She said

"The key to what?" Spring asked.

"I don't know. He just kept saying the same thing over and over. I once tried to ask him what the key meant. But he just slapped me very hard and told me never to speak that word again." Streak said.

"It sounds like he treated you badly Streak." She said.

"Actually no, he made me better. Than he told me to face needing to be saved, because he knew Autumn, with her kind heart, would try to save me. It was the prefect trap for her to be taken by the caretaker." She said smiling and laughing.

"What's so funny?" Spring asked unamused.

"You people that call yourself hero's will do anything to keep that tile. It's ridiculous." She said with a serious tone.

"We're trying to keep the world from harm and evil. For example, you." Spring said.

"Yeah but guess what. If Autumn didn't come to help me, I wouldn't be tied up in this chair. Your father is smarter and stronger than you think, and it's still pathetic that you think you can stop him from his plans. I told you, your right where he wants you. And by the time you see that, it will already be too late to stop him." Streak said.

Spring heard the door open and turned around to see who it is.

Jacob walked through the door. "Spring look out!"

And before Spring could look back to see what was going on behind her, she couldn't see anything but darkness.
