New Beginnings

One stormy night, as Ryuto was heading back from an errand that his mother asked him to do, which is to buy some groceries. He heard dreadful screams at the direction of his house he felt a sudden pain in his chest. He dashed quickly towards his home, as he dropped all of the groceries he bought. By the time he reached his house, the screams halted. He opened the door but it was too late, the sight he saw was his father holding a bloody knife and two corpses of the floor. As a thunder struck down behind his father, the light reflected inside and the two corpses on the ground was Ryuto's mother and younger sister. "No... Ahhhhhh!!!" Ryuto collapsed on the ground as he screamed on top of his lungs. Ryuto was mortified because of the scene he had witnessed. "Run... Ryuto..." The voice of his dying mother resonated around the room. As his father heard her cries, "Shut up, you bitch!" The horrible father stabbed his wife again and again until he was satified and she no longer breathing. "Ahh... My useless son... Ryuto." His father looked at Ryuto with killing intent in his eyes. "Come here, I want to quickly dispose of you!" Ryuto ran in fear, but his father quickly chased after him. "No! Don't come near me!" Ryuto yelled, but his father payed no mind for his cries and fear filled voice as he gripped tighter on the knife. "Don't run! Ryuto!" The father yelled back to Ryuto. Ryuto ran as fast as he could, as he reached the city where there's people everywhere, people were avoiding Ryuto as he was being chased by his psychotic father. "Help! Somebody help!" Ryuto pleaded for help. "Somebody! Anybody!" He pleaded more, but nobody dared to interfere. Ryuto ran and ran, but as he ran across the busy road, he was ran over by a huge truck, his body came flying across the road. The father stopped in his chase, as he laughed maniacally, "Finally! The pests are gone! I'm finally free!" His father yelled, but he was immediately apprehended by the police. Ryuto was on death bed as he took a good look on his father being apprehended. "Serves... Him... Right..." Ryuto said under his breath as he perished in the pouring rain.

"Ryuto... Ryuto Kazuki!" A voice that seemed belonged to a gentle maiden called out to Ryuto. Ryuto heard the voice as he slowly opened his eyes, and by his surprise. He still felt alive. "Am I dead...?" Ryuto pondered confusedly, "Yes, you died Ryuto Kazuki." The gentle voice spoke. "Who's there!?" Ryuto looked around in the white space with a sudden mist appeared. He saw a silhouette of a woman walking inside the mist, towards to Ryuto. "Welcome Ryuto Kazuki, to the Gates of Gaia!"
