Kingdom of the Ruined

~Prologue~

In the year of 620, in the world of Gaia, where god and goddesses exist in physical form and lived together with humans. After living with them for a hundred years, they noticed that the gods needed to descend to the God's Realm, but they cannot afford to leave the humans without protection, for as humans cannot wield magic and power by the gods because the capacity of a human being is so limited, and so by their power, they've created the existence of "Witches", where this so called "Witches" will be the human's sword and shield. The witches are the embodiment of the gods themselves, so the gods have given them magic, power, knowledge and wisdom for the sake of the human race. But the gods and goddesses are merely observers now, they may not meddle with the affairs of humans. With the help of witches, the human race has lived peacefully for 500 years. But as time goes on, humanity became more knowledgable, they've evolved as they've tainted with greed and power, even the god themselves can't comprehend the human's sudden change. The humans created a religion called "The Church of the Gaia Dynasty." At first, it seemed as it was a normal religion where they praise gods and goddesses, but its only a facade for it is so blinded with treachery against the gods, as they blinded humanity with false words that goes against with the gods and goddesses own words. Because of this religion, they've created a civilization, "The Kingdom of Gaia" where the church rules, as they where blinded with envy towards the witches' power, they've ordered that "Every witch will be sentenced to death for they have sinned in the name of gods!" and humanity has been fooled and did as they ordered to. They've killed, tortured and massacred witches for millennia. The other non-human races has not agreed with the human's way of treatment against the witches and they moved far away from the Kingdom of Gaia. There are now four huge kingdoms in the world of Gaia, which the kingdom where the humans reside is the largest out of all of them. The other three kingdoms will be introduced later on.

Among all witches, there are 10 witches whose powers said to be on par with the gods themselves. And they are called, "The Ten Supreme Witches" where these witches has mastered all ten elements. These ten elements are Fire, Water, Earth and Air, which are called the basic elements. Light and Dark which are the superior elements, rumoured to have no weakness, except with against each other. The last four elements are Ice, Gravity, Lightning, and Space, these elements are called Rare elements. Only a handful of witches wield these elements.

In the present time, a boy named Ryuto Kazuki, a boy who is born in Kyoto, Japan. He is a kind boy that had a unfortunate of a father, but he had his mother and little sister where he's treated kindly. His father was a drunkard and he's piled with endless amount of debt, all he ever do was drink alcohol and gamble all day. Ryuto's mother was so nice and gentle that she never raised a hand on her children, his mother and his younger sister has supported Ryuto throughout his life. But little did Ryuto know that his life is about to change.
