Being a Manchester United player myself, I was granted a seat right next to the pitch, the other option was the VIP stand, but there was less of a chance of her spotting me there than when I was right in front of her. It felt odd, not playing but sitting in the stands, and as soon as civilians were let in, people recognized me and asked for photographs and autographs almost distracting me from what was happening on the pitch, I asked for some privacy and when I turned the teams were in their halves waiting for the whistle to blow...
I watched as Nell looked at her players confidently before kicking the ball off the line, she was breathtaking *cough* I mean her vision was breathtaking, every pass managed to find its mark, and every run she made, ended up as a United chance for goal. I was starting to get lost in the game when suddenly Nell received an overhead pass and ran forward, I got up from my seat and cheered, "Go on Nell!"
This action got me a few knowing stares from the fans seated near me and I sat back down slowly and awkwardly before turning around with a solemn expression, "This doesn't leave this stand, do you hear me, unless you want me to miss the easiest shots in the next match!"
"Don't worry Adri, your secrets are safe with us for now!"
We laughed and as we turned, Nell curled the ball into the top corner before running to the corner flag and sliding on her knees, I stood up and waved with all my might, and eventually, she turned her beautiful- *cough* face towards me and waved back, winking and shooting a heart sign with her hands, I kept my cool and acted like I was fainting, falling back into the fans who were awesome enough to catch me.
She laughed as she ran back to her position and I sat back down to enjoy the rest for the rest of the game, I was quiet and perceptive until the half-time whistle blew and the players walked back into the tunnel. I got up and went into the stadium by the staff entrance and met up with the women's team manager, Marc Skinner who was just about to enter the locker room for the halftime talk with his players, "Hey Adri, wassup, and you need to stop distracting my players on the pitch young man!"
"Sorry Marc, can I come in too, boost the morale a bit eh?"
"Fine, but not for long Adri, or I'll tell big old Ten Hag, you're getting distracted!"
I put up my hands in surrender and accepted defeat, "Fine just two minutes!"
We walked into the locker rooms much to the surprise of the players, a few mutters and whispers later some of the girls I knew asked, "Adri, what are you doing here, oh and we've got some gossip about you!"
"Oh shut up Paris, go work on your pace before gossiping," I said.
She got up and punched me in the arm before walking over to one of the staff to get an energy drink while the manager pulled out tactics, when she came by Nell on the way back, Paris smiled at her and said, "Adri's a dumbass, you could do better!"
I whispered to the manager who didn't like being interrupted during his tactics talk, "Nikita Josephine Paris! You better sit down and listen before I sub you off!" I smirked as the winger sat down on the bench begrudgingly, I saw Nell looking at me and I winked at her, as I walked out, realizing my two minutes were over, I whispered to her, "I'll pick you up in the parking lot."

The rest of the match was over in the blink of an eye because of my excitement for what followed and I sat there in the G-wagon, restless, tapping my knees, would she not come?
My fears, however, were quenched by her arrival, Nell was wearing a red sleeveless dress and holding a pearl white purse, "Hey Adri, can I drop my bags in the back of your car?"
"Of course, no problem!"
I didn't ask if she needed any help, that would have seemed rude to her, she was able to do things on her own and I could sense she liked that independence, I would never take that from someone, she nodded at me and I drove off the block and out ono the street. We found ourselves seated at an expensive French restaurant which I had booked to impress her.
"So Adri, did you like the Escargots?" She laughed seeing the expression on my face...
"Honesty is key, therefore... Hell no, that was the devil's shit that was..."
Eventually, I offered to pay, but she insisted on halving it and we left the restaurant, I decided to walk her to her house as the Car could only go so far, and we walked side by side in the evening breeze and up the stairs to her apartment and finally at the door of her abode, "I guess I'll see ou later Nell, it was nice seeing you..."
I turned around to walk back to the car when I heard a voice, "Adri wait!" followed by running before someone barreled into my arms, wrapping me into a hug, then a kiss, "I had so much fun today, and I want to explore where this will take us, so, will you be my boyfriend?"
"Hell yeah!"
We kissed again, the moonlight breaking through the large windows of the building, "How did that taste?"
"Better than those snails!" I said as I skipped down the stairs.
