The Voice

Another voice began to speak. I heard someone said hello. Maybe he is Reggie or maybe not. My heart is beating too fast and my lips do not want to cooperate at all. I also said hello and he asked who is on the line. I was thinking if this will fail, my plan will not work. I said " Hi, my name is Kim. You may not know me but I hope you can talk to me." (demanding noh). I got your number from my cousin which happens to be your classmate. He was too hesitant to accept my call but I eagerly told him that I do not have any bad intention, I just want to be his friend. I told him that I saw his picture on one of their class pictures (lie). I introduced myself and he asked me to describe myself. This time he is a bit interested and I am loving it 😊. I uttered the best description that I can think of and he began to ask more. I asked him of his age and school. I asked him if how many are they in the family and if he is the eldest. Reggie is the youngest and still in high school. He also shared his hobby, which is playing computer games and he said that he will be playing it soon. So I asked if he needs to put down the phone and he said yes. I was sad but hopeful that I can still talk to him after, so I asked and he said I can call after two hours. I grin and blushed. I will have another chance to talk to him after two hours. He is my ultimate crush. He knows how to style himself and he is really handsome. I did not expect that he will entertain my call but he did and I can not explain how I feel that moment he said hello.

I patiently waited for two hours and called back. He answered the phone and advised me that he will just have his dinner and asked for my number so he can call me back. I gave my number immediately (thinking that he might change his mind😃). He promised to call me after 30 minutes. This is too exciting, this is the exact word that came out of my mind.

I did not move at all and waited beside the phone for 30 minutes (crazy). I even told my mother that I am expecting a call. it is passed 30 minutes and the phone is still not ringing. I was thinking that he might not keep his promise, then the phone rung. Oh my, he called. I said hello, and then someone asked for my brother (disappointed). I told her that my brother is already sleeping and she can call him back tomorrow ( another lie). I am already planning to call him back but he may think that I am so easy to get. In fact, if he will tell me to be his girlfriend that night I will immediately say yes 😋. It is already an hour and no one is calling me back. I was wondering if he just l tried to get rid of me by saying he will have his dinner. I was too desperate and wanted to call him again but my ego does not want to stoop down. I waited too long do his call and it did not happen. I decided to go to my room and just call him back tomorrow. But my mind is killing me with thoughts that are not even valid. In short, I was overthinking. I was hopefully that I will be able to talk to him tomorrow. ( sana naman naghope din kayo guys). To be continued....
