1 The beginning...

When I was in college, I used to talk to a lot of boys using my sweet and bedroom voice. It all started when landline was at its peak in 2003.

Kim was my phone name, Kim was 16 years old when she started this virtual relationship. Kim is studying in DLSU and she is taking up a degree in business ( not so specific as I do not have any idea with their courses). Kim is skinny, has a white complexion, pretty and smart. She is also a dean's lister. Her father works in Japan (this is true) and her mother stays with her (truth again). She has a younger brother and she is the eldest.

She started it all by calling random numbers and by checking the phone directory. It was so exciting and I met a lot of people over the phone. I can not anymore recall how many they were.

My first phone-pal was Reggie. He is my high school mate. He is tall, dark and handsome. He is considered as one of the heart-throbs at our school. He was my crush and I do not know to approach him personally since he looks too intimidating. I asked my friend for his information. The first information that I got was his name. I looked for his number using the directory but I could not find any number linked to his name. I was too desperate to know his number and to start calling him. A bright idea came up and I called my elementary best friend which happens to be his closest friend. Finally, I got his number after talking to my best friend. I was so excited and prepared may first spiel. I need to be ready or else this will all be put into waste. I rehearsed a lot so that I could catch his attention. When I finally had the courage to call, I dialled his number. A manly voice answered the phone and I was wondering if he was the one who answered it or maybe it was his father. I was so scared yet excited. I dropped the phone since I was too shaky, to begin with my spiel. I was too cold and nervous. As if someone will recognise my voice. I called multiple times until I heard that the guy on the phone is beginning to get irritated. I decided to start by asking the guy. I ask if Reggie is available then he said wait I will get him for you. My blood began to rise up to my head and I was sweating a lot. It was really nerve cracking. Then another voice began to speak. He said hello, sino ito? Then I fainted. hahahahahaha. No, not at all. to be continued....
