"Being mean to him was never going to help. Lany being clueless was never her fault."

Drey blinked.

"People get exasperated at his dad for the same reason."

"You aren't just saying that?"

"That's probably a big reason the boss has Tony."

"And my mom works for Ms. Sarah. Your point?"

Del chuckled. "Well, Lady Sarah is pretty high energy at times. If not for Auntie, she probably would lose track of stuff."

Audrey hummed. "True. Wonder if she is like you."

Randy hummed. Was she?

"Anyway, my point is, try to be nicer to people. Honey works better than vinegar."

That was when the boy who looked like Star busted into the room. "Audrey, Snow is hungry!"

Audrey narrowed her eyes at him. "He's your doggie, not mine."

"Aww, come on. Help me feed him."

Audrey stared at the tired dog and sighed. "Fine!"

Del smiled and dug into his pocket. It was a good thing he always carried some jerky around with him.
