The score, 41-39, flashed brightly across the scoreboard, and for a few seconds, it was almost as if time stood still. The realization hit everyone all at once—Seiryuu High had done the impossible. They had clawed their way back from the brink of defeat and snatched victory from the jaws of Shinkai High.
