His ice cream bucket

There is a villain known as Black Jack who owns a secret clinic in the very depth of the Seoul slum. Nobody knows where he lives except for those villains who have VIP passes. They are the people who bring customers to the doctor.

And Ray was also one of them.

Even though he didn't have any aura in his body, he was accepted as a VIP customer. 

For making a living, selling kidneys, livers, eyes and hearts were Ray's one of his earning methods but he turned it on the other way.

He made a bet with the black jack and as promised, he bought him an A-class hero's dead body. So he won the bet and he got accepted as his student. 

But two years before his death, he left the clinic and continued to hunt the tank. The black jack respected his opinion and let him go because he was a bit annoying.

   That old man must be surprised to see a kid delivering fresh kidneys out of nowhere.

Ray ran out of the burning store room and went inside the lunch area to eat. Even though he wasn't hungry, he wanted to taste the pudding and ice cream after a long time. He was craving for sweets.

"Here you go… have a nice day, kid. And don't eat too much ice cream. You'll catch a cold." 

Ray took the ice cream from the shop owner and said, "Don't worry, uncle."

The school lunch area was filled with people and all the lunches were finished. So he had to go look for ice cream outside the school and fortunately he found a decent sweet shop where a man was making various types of ice cream. 

He always looked like a rough man who likes nothing but bloody steak but in reality, he had a sweet tooth.

"This ice cream is heavenly…."

   This is the best thing I've ever eaten after my reincarnation. My maid doesn't allow any sweets after my meals so I guess I need to sneak out for these.

Ray took out his phone and searched for the shop on google Maps when a man bumped into him. His right hand was bandaged so he failed to catch both of them after losing his balance.

His ice cream fell off.

Instead of getting angry at that man, his tears came out and started to cry out loud. 

"Why did you do that!! Waaa!! I just had my first ice cream after a millennium!!! Waaaaaaa!!!!"

Ray was angry at the same time so he looked above and saw a woman, not a man. Her dress also got messed with the ice cream he had in his hand.

"Oh! I am so sorry!! Do you want me to buy you another one? Come on, stop crying!! People will think that I'm bullying you!"

The woman saw the ice cream shop right in front of her and dragged him into the shop to calm him down.

He was still crying…

"Umm!! Sir, please prepare the same ice cream this young boy had and make it two!!"

The shop owner was surprised to see him cry because a minute ago, he looked so cheerful and happy with his ice cream.

"Okay, that will be 10,000 won."

"Eh?" The woman was surprised. "He bought that expensive one?" The woman asked.

"Umm. Yes."

"Hah!! Okay. We'll take a seat."

Ray stopped crying and started to glare at her while sitting in front of her.

     I can't believe I cried like a kid because I can't control the kid's emotions inside my brain yet. For a simple ice cream? This is embarrassing!! But why are my tears coming out when I'm thinking about my ice cream!!!

The shop owner gave both of them two big buckets of ice cream and Ray stabbed his spoon in it.

He took a big scoop while glaring at her eyes. His tears were still falling but he kept his angry face straight up. 

"Sorry, kid. I didn't see you coming. And will you stop looking at me like that? I bought your ice cream, didn't I?"

"You killed my ice cream. Sniff…."

The woman shook his head and said, "You're from this neighbour's middle school. Isn't it already 1?"

Ray again took a big scoop of his chocolate ice cream and said, "The school will be dismissed very soon."

"Why?" The woman asked.

"Because there is a fire." 

At that time, a firefighter truck passed by the ice cream shop and it caught her eyes. "Wait, there's a fire?" The woman asked.

"Yes. Now let me eat in peace. I am hungry." 

Ray wiped his eyes and nose with a tissue and again took a big scoop of vanilla ice cream. 

He had three different flavours in one bucket. 

   Now, it's time for the strawberry one.

Ray looked at the woman's face and saw she was calling someone on her phone. Then he realised that she was a policeman.

"Aren't you going to see what's happening in our school?"

The woman put her phone back in her pocket after talking and said, "Yes, my director told me that there is a fire in the back of the school and a group of students are saying someone was in there smoking.  Then the fire spread out and there were two witnesses who tried to help him. Unfortunately, the storeroom collapsed."

"Wow, that's really interesting," Ray answered. 

The woman became angrier because of his ignorant answer so she screamed, "Do you know who died!!! The son of a Heroes family!! It's Ray Li who was inside the room!" 

Ray laughed and said, "Strange. I didn't expect them to take the situation that far. How is Ray dead in the store room when Ray is here eating his ice cream?"

"What? What do you mean?"

Ray took out his school ID and threw it on the table. "I am Ray Li, the student who seems to be dead in the store room."

The woman was dumbfounded. She picked up the ID and matched it with his face. She was sure it was the real Ray who was eating ice cream in front of her.

"What's going on?" The woman asked.

"I don't know. Maybe they mistook me for someone? Or they were trying to kill someone." 

     Well, who knew they'd mention their name. This is what happens when you don't plan your murder perfectly. Now I will raise their bill to 5% and enjoy organ harvesting with my new skill.

The woman sat down and gave her ice cream to Ray as well. "Eat it up. I don't want to eat it anymore."

Ray's eyes became glittering as he saw another bucket of ice cream in front of her.

The woman looked at his ID again and thought, 'This boy was born with no aura in his body. From the rumours I heard from so many sources is that this boy was always neglected by his family. He is a victim of school bullying and from the latest news, I heard that his recent injuries were also from the school bully. His right hand is the living evidence.'

She thought about it for some moment and said, "Ray Li, are you being bullied by someone at school?"

"Hm? Not at all."

 She thought, 'It's a lie. Smoke doesn't come from the air. There's always a fire in the centre.'

"I heard you don't have any mana in your body."

"Who knows? Maybe I have? Maybe not?" He put down the spoon and said, "Thank you so much for the treat. May I ask for your name?"

"I am Miko Dae, a police officer."

"I see, thank you ." 

    Is she also a part of the tank? I feel some mana in her body but I guess she isn't a Hero. I don't even think that she's a tank at all.

Because she doesn't have a ring around her finger.

"Kid. Let's get your bag from school. I will give you a lift after the school incident is over. But I think I need to question those kids."

   They are dead today.

Ray again went back to his original expressions after he locked his new body emotions deep inside and followed the police officer quietly.

Even the police officer was surprised to see his sudden change of personality.

Back to school.

The firefighters already took control of the fire and Rika was crying because of the scenery. But deep inside, she was feeling the satisfaction because she didn't have to pay the money back.

The same goes for Rokang who bullied him and snatched tons of money from him. 

The firefighters removed the collapsed ceiling of the big storage room one by one but there was no dead body. They searched the whole area but found nothing. 

Then they said, "If there was really a body that burned, there must be at least skeletons. But it seems like there was nobody. The kids must've seen it wrong."

Rika came forward and said, "No! I've seen it with my own eyes!! Ray was crying for help!! We couldn't save him because the window glass was too hot!"

At that moment, Miko Dae came forward with Ray and said, "Are you sure it was Ray who died?" 

Rika saw Ray eating a bun and screamed in fear. Of course, Ray knew what kind of scream that was. So he gave her a wave and shovel his bun in his mouth. 

"Mo…monster!!!!" Rika screamed.
